Afternoon all
I'm in again this week. Thanks for the list Dusty & Natty :hello:
Got loads done today :
Started a preventative tidy up in DD3's room of doom.
Big Sainsburys shop done & put away.
DW unloaded & reloaded
WM on
Kitchen cleared up
Dinner on
Cat litter changed - no mean feat as I had to lug the new sack of litter upstairs & I'm still so weak
Clothes bought in Sainsburys tried on, rejected & brought down ready to return.
Going to [STRIKE]finish DD3's room[/STRIKE] before she's home from school, we're trying to keep on top of it as she can make it look like a tsunami has ploughed through it within 24hrs :wall:

Thank you for the new thread Dustykitten and to natty for last week.
School for three mornings this week as part of my phased return, and continuing to co-teach with colleague. HoD has suggested that as colleague is NQT, that she continues for rest of year with some classes, and I act as mentor. Everyone being so supportive, I am extremely grateful. Very tired again today, but I think that is partly because I was anxious about DD who finished and submitted her uni work at 1am - I woke and went to check she was ok. She's pretty tired today too!
Ok, am off to do the kitchen now. Laters! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Serena so pleased to hear your school are being supportive.
Lacking motivation this afternoon, the rain is not helping, going to do a HHC.
3 sacks of stuff taken to scrap store and some free needles picked up but I'm not sure they are fat enough so I'll have to have a test later and see. Shopping put away.
Spoken to Mum her op is tomorrow, she is doing well at coping, I'm trying to distract myself, at least I have paid stuff in the morning for a few hours. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I'm in again this week. Thank you dusty for the lists.
I have cleaned and tidyed the kitchen - work surfaces, sink and taps, floor. i I haven't dared tackle the dining room yet, it is not quite a RoD but almost.
I have walked the dog this morning. Before I went out it was pouring with rain and very windy so I got dressed in layers, waterproof coat and trousers. Five minutes into the hour walk and it stopped raining and the sun came out - I was sweltering! Then paid stuff, lunch and picking kids up from school.
off to prepare tea then more clearing the kitchen...saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
so much for my plans
, think all my spoons have been nicked as I have about enough energy to drink a brew (which Dr Witch made for me as I haven't even the energy to do that!)
Must use my stash up!0 -
Done a HHC in the kitchen, going to wash the filters now and then DS3 will be home. Working on the doing anything is better than nothing today. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Dustykitten Fabulous. Now what on earth can I do with them?:rotfl: Yes, school being wonderful. As another colleague pointed out (the one who I covered this time last year!) it's no good my pushing myself, then having to take more time off because I can't cope. I will be thinking of your mum and you tomorrow, sending calming, positive thoughts. And hugs.
Kitchen Done!! Except for under the sink. It's not too disastrous, and I'm tired. I'll do it at the end of the week. Does anyone know why I have a cardboard box of vases and empty jam jars under there, none of which have been used for years? No. Nor do I.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
