Blimey, what a morning. Racing around like a loon. But managed to strike quite a few things off my list. Estate agent visit done  Although *I* know how much work has gone into sorting out the house after a year of me being unable to do anything in here, it still looks cluttered & grubby. Seeing it through the estate agent's eyes was embarrassing
But, that's the way it goes.
Time for breakfast/lunch then I'll get on with today's list.

Thanks, it was cancelled after she was all prepped for the op as no ICU beds! All are gutted, surgeon says he has never cancelled a cancer patient before, doesn't help Mum though, rescheduled for 2 weeks time.
Valli congrats to your DD.
It really is the 13th DS3 has sent me photos of his school shoes which are wrecked at the front on day 2.
Exam I had kids in tears not feeling well, 4 turned up late.
Going to put the washing on the line and have lunch next. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Ooh well done JTTOU
Also well done to valli's dd
And gentle hugs for dusty and dusty mum
I'm WFH today and started at 6.30 so am taking a looonnnggg lunch break :T I've even popped out to @ldi for some fridgy bits. I am determined to meal plan, and they had a little notice board thingy with a shopping list and meal planner (tear-off) so have purchased that and am going to add my SW meals to it.
Printed off some invites for DS party while stuff was downloading this morning, so he has enveloped those and taken them to school.
Other than that, I don't know where I'm at!Bossymoo

Well done Narco on getting the tax return off your desk and HUGE congratulations to the ValliGirl. I'm sorry about your mother's surgery being postponed Dusty - it's probably my relatives who are causing the ICU blockage. My family is certainly getting its moneysworth out of the NHS.
Finding it very difficult to concentrate at the moment. Two extremely poorly relatives in hospital and difficult family relationships surrounding both of them. Horrible. Mrs Dog's health also very compromised. The only things I can do are get the vet to understand what I want for the dog which isn't helped by the fact that the two who knew the dog have both left, and go and visit one of the relatives which means a journey of 360 miles tomorrow.
The plumber's been and says it isn't a broken drain. Hurrah. The smell in the downstairs room has all but gone so at least I know what's been causing it for all these years and not having to declutter £££ digging up the shower room floor. *relief* The quote has come through for the attic: £££ more than we'd hoped but he's a good builder so the money saved on the drains will be spent up there instead.
House looks half decent despite the dog shedding everywhere. I'm off to scrub the shower room to get the frustration out of my system.Better is good enough.0 -

Nicki, I notice that your tally for walking 1 mile per day is getting larger, I'm worried that you are going to make the task seem impossible. Are you counting every step you take? Sometimes it is too meh to go outside but you could walk a mile inside your own house. Do you have a pedometer?
Its okay, I know that a round trip to town is approximately 5 miles without too much wandering, around trip to Mr A is a mile-ish, and if I'm running low I'm going to go to the parkIts only so large as I didn't go anywhere last week except work due to a lack of money. I'm leaving to walk to town very very soon for a blackdog appointment so that'll easily cover last weeks lack of action
Now I have finances sorted I can start shopping around at different supermarkets which will means I'll easily hit my target as everywhere else is a good 30min walk if I go to the decent sized stores as opposed to little locals
Ironing done, Cmas savings card registered, Mr A price vouchers printed, tally of all grocery savings so far added to a sticky note attached to card to be added next time I'm in storeMoney moved, emails checked, time for me to go get dressed and head to my BD appointment. Last one today
