Morning everyone.
Thinking of you and your mum today, Dusty. Hope you got some sleep.
Well done Valli's DD.
JUst trying to avoid breakfast and get off to SW via Aldi so I can pick up a cauli - they had run out by Sunday pm! Hoping for a loss today and may then reduce my target weight by half a stone.
Picked up a lovely skirt in MnS yesterday - a little too big around the waist but not like the ones I am wearing - I can take them off without unzipping them and keep tripping up over the hems as I go up the stairs!!!!! I am rather vertically challenged!
Plan is to get back home at about 11, eat then crack on!!!
Hugs sticks and spoons where needed and welcome to any newbies.xJuly 16 £95/£200

Love and posivibes to you and your mum today, Dusty
Congratulations to Miss Valli :T
Yesterday was one of those days when you realise that you don't really know what's happening, and one little thing on the list suddenly spawns a dozen others which need immediate attention. I spent most of the day on the phone, trying to sort out some arrangements, and then drawing up a spreadsheet to help me keep track of who will do what, when and where - IYSWIM! It took me most of the day, but I now have a far better overview and have marshalled my thoughts in logical order for a meeting next week.
In the afternoon I was flagging and almost went and curled up on the sofa, but DH said he was going for a walk, and I thought of the Level 3 list and decided to join him - up a nearby hill which neither of us had even walked up before. It was drizzling and *very* muddy and slippery underfoot in the woods, but we got almost to the top before the path became impassable, and safely down again. It got rid of the cobwebs in my brain and made me realise how much my fitness levels have improved
Today is a busy one , with SW, hair appointment and hospital visiting, but I also aim to
- do 2x WM and TD
- do dailies
- make 2 phonecalls
- return an unwanted scarf for refund
- buy bananas
- buy a new computer monitor, as this one (which is at least 6 years old) is ghosting badly
- more filing in the study
- start updating passwords
Time to get moving! (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all x0 -
Morning all.
Hugs, spoons, sticks and vibes to all.
I overslept again this morning. Before Christmas I was bouncing out of bed at 6-6.30am, and being really productive. Now I'm back to trying to drag myself out of bed at 7.15 goneI think its time to start the healthy eating & exercising again.....and no more cola
DD ironed her own blouse this morning, and I've sorted out the ironing pile so I can prioritise her uniform & my clothes for today. I'm just having breakfast then I'm going to have an hours ironing session while I watch some catch-up TV, wash up, and then try to find a home for the tray of water I got from Mr A. DD needs them from school and it was costing me £2.50 for 12 bottles, now she's declared she doesn't use the sports cap anyway, I've managed to get a tray of 24 bottles for £3.50
Problem is I'm trying to keep the top of the cupboards clear so I'm struggling with somewhere to store them :rotfl:
Right, email check, move money (I'll update finances later) and then find something to watch while I iron. I need to be out of here at 1pm to make my appointment at 2pm, and to come back via h0mebargains since DD is in drama club tonight :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Everyone banished to school.. pick-ups will be fun tonight.. all 3 from the same place at 3 different times.. 3:15, 3:30 and 4:15...
Still clearing in the kitchen at a very slow rate.. the laundry mountain is disappearing though, and I need to bin a couple of laundry baskets.. I bought 3 new ones and 2 arrived more broken than my old ones!! Well done Chavsda!!
I have an infected gland under my chin by thefeel of it.. its quite sore5 hours rubbish sleep I am absolutely shattered.
Todays list may include a trip to B&Q though I'm not sure I can summon the energy.. if not we shall continue to have a broken front door lock and kitchen door handle. I am almost needing to replace all our door knobs with handles as I am unable to open them now my hands are so weak and painful and useless

*Edit- deleted list
Ok, I promised myself that I would keep on top of the lists this year so I thought that I had better have a look back to the beginning of the year and see just how far behind I have got. Kaz is on catch up now!
I meant to say last night,
Congratulations Vallidaughter, now you have wheels!
Nicki, I notice that your tally for walking 1 mile per day is getting larger, I'm worried that you are going to make the task seem impossible. Are you counting every step you take? Sometimes it is too meh to go outside but you could walk a mile inside your own house. Do you have a pedometer?
(I'm well aware of the hypocrisy of my advice to Nicki coupled with my uber long list btw!)
Dusty, I hope DustyMum gets on ok today. I'm sure you will pop in at some point so have a hug (((Dusty))).
