strange tescomobile issue

Its have a couple of contracts with Tescomobile and with one I was waiting for an old contract to end before I could port my number over to the Tesco contract.
It was a capped tariff and as such you can set a safety buffer which can be anything from £2.50p upwards.
Each month for 7 months the safety buffer would show as used up even though the sim was in a bedroom drawer.
Each month I rang them and although they reinstated the buffer so that I was not out of pocket, each month it happened again.
This " glitch "kept on happening until one of their customer service reps. finally managed to sort it once and for all.
It would seem that their system does have a number of glitches so keep a close eye on your bills.
Apart from that I have found them to be a friendly and help full company to deal with.0 -

yes never had any issues with live chat, they have always answered my questions. when EE were only going to place funds in my orange account that was going to cover my orange contract to the end i looks at tesco mobile for a PAYG sim, but they only did standard free sims online, so live chat arranged a nano PAYG sim, but now as EE have agreed to cancel my account FOC then i decided on a tesco mobile contract. they told me that once i get the phone contact them and they will swap the contract to the nano sim i have already. but i will a wait and see what they say tomorrow about this issue0 -
So at 8am this morning i checked and it was now showing 15 minutes used.
so i thought i would wait and see if i get a phone call before contacting them again.
I checked again at 10am and guess what it showed 0 minutes used, then at 10:10 i get a phone call and they say they cannot see any used minutes on my account ( seems strange 10 minutes after going back to 0 they tell me they cant see anything).
I told then it was their , so if they have dispatched it then they can call the courier and tell them to return it to them as this seems fishy. They told me they cant do that so i would have to reject the parcel ( RIGHT, they reason i think is if i reject and it is returned then it does not cost them, but if they have to call courier to recall parcel they will be charged). anyway they say they dont want our start to get off bad (well that's already happened) so would i accept 2 months free. The also told me to check sim when it arrives0 -
Personally, I would keep the contract as long as you are still happy with the deal. It seems the problem is now sorted.
We have 2 contracts with Tesco and although we have had a couple of problems, over the years, they have always been sorted to our satisfaction by friendly customer services who also happen to British based.0 -
