    Spooky.

On the bright side, five minutes isn't much, and you'll probably end up getting a month's rental free as an apology ;)

Yes is spooky, especially when most not likely packaged yet to send out.
just cant wait to see if they do phone tomorrow and what excuse they give.

Sounds to me like it's not the correct account your looking at.

Where did you get the details to log in from ?

i set the account up, all details on the account are correct, live chat confirmed they could see the minutes, but could not explain why it happened, thats why they say they need CS to call me tomorrow

strange as normaly need the number to register and a pin, never had an issue with minutes
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I wouldn't have thought you'd be able to set up the account without being given the phone number and activating through the sim. If that's the case it seems a bit of a security problem to me but as I've never had a contract through Tesco perhaps you can ???

Either way I think I would be checking the details when the phone and sim arrive

for the online account you just need a username and password, which gives access to your account which allows you to see your order and phone usage details etc.

but yes normally you would need to register/activate the sim on a phone

under ShowMyAccountDetails it does give the number that will be associated to the phone.

i dialled that number and it rung 3 times then went dead, which if it was not active, then it should be like if phone turned off and not ring and go straight to voicemail, but not active it should not even do that

you set up the account while placing the order, this also gives the option to read and print off contract add extras etc.

I would be checking that against the number that arrives, if it's a different number it will explain it's not the correct account and if it's the same I'd be tempted to ask for a replacement as there clearly a billing problem

I will be waiting to see what they say tomorrow. Only went with tesco mobile as for some reason their phone plan is the same price as SIMO, which i just need sim for my iPhone 5c, so they told me when it arrives contact them and they will do a sim swap to a nano sim, so i could easily cancel and got Three or Talkmobile as i can get the same resources for the same price
