Always nice to see new members joining us
Day 1 and its a NSD
Tonight we had sausage, bacon, salad and halloumi cheese. Surprised at how full we were after. The sausage, bacon and sweet corn were left over from weekend and even managed to put 3 sausages in the freezer. Have some mashed potato left from yesterday so will do crab cakes - we were having them later in week but so as not to waste the mash have brought it forwards.
Did take a photo but photo bucket not responding tonight - will try later.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Nothing bought today.0

Hi,
I'm a bit late but can I join please? I would like to stick to £300. That seems a lot compared to other in the challenge but this is new to me and I'm starting from scratch.
Thanks

£8.76 spent at Sainsburys on the way home from work because we didn't go to the butchers over the weekend due to mad sorting, destroying old beds, etc for moving.0

Today is another nsd! I did mean to go and buy olives for my pasta dish tonight but I decided against it as I knew I wouldn't just buy olives! My plan is to do my next shop on Wednesday as that's when I get my child tax and I have a tesco midweek plan for deliveries.Trying to fix my finances whilst living with 3 kids and 2 cats! 👩🏻👧🏻👦🏻👶🏼🐱🐱

Hiya everyone and a warm welcome to the new peoples :hello:
Had our first NSD today. Had to swing menu plan a bit as DH was running very late home due to problems at work. So we finished up with the basic back-up of eggs, baked beans and chips.

I'm in again
Official budget is £244.90, which is full value of all items bought from shops and long-term stocks bought from myself (items I already had in before 1st Jan)
Unofficial budget is £200, with no more than £105 worth of goods from shops (though I'll be happy to just hand over less than that). I'd like to get my split of shop spends to stock spends as close to 50:50 as possible (or even heavier in favour of stocks), so I need to start sorting myself out lunches that primarily use long-terms stocks, and the same for evening meals when I'm only cooking for me.Cheryl0 -
I will try for £320 please, as I think I may need to do another Easiyo order this month, hence the extra. Hello everyone.
Could I be in again for £250 please.
Despite my best efforts during May unfortunately DH having a few days off at the beginning of the month plus the half term last week means budget busted again second month in a row.
[STRIKE]Hoping[/STRIKE] Determined June will not be the same.
Will have to read a few more threads for inspiration and ideas.0
