Well - I've now only £8.22 left of this month's budget. I did carry forward a deficit of £8.03 but I still don't think I'll do it even on with £16.25

It just goes to show that having to rely on DH :kisses3: to get the shopping does make a big difference. Oh well will just have to do my best and claw it back as we go along.

Had a lovely roast chicken dinner, with all the trimmings and plenty left for another meal and probably squeeze some soup as well. Have most things for rest of week.

Hope you all have a great Monday

Had a very small spend yesterday of £1.40 for a loaf of wholemeal bread from the local bakers - they must have only just started doing WM as haven't been able to get it before. Must say it's the tastiest WM I've had for a long time!

Have also had 2 NSDs since my last shop on Thursday meaning I'm now at 13/20 shop looking like I can hit my target for this month as still have 11 days left as long as I'm a bit better with my shopping lists on the days I do go shopping!

Also looks as though I'm going to to come in under budget again this month - so some more money to put away into savings for holidays or Christmas!

No shop spending over the weekend, but used a few bits from stock (breakfasts, cup-a-soup, sausages, flavoured rice and stewing steak)

oh! and just remembered I opened a bottle of flavoured water from stocks yesterday - figures tweaked to include that

Figures show budget to end of yesterday as £155.10, with spends of £89.90
So this means my split is sliding back towards using from stock - 67% shop : 33% stock for month, and 64% : 36% for year to date

Well I've spent all my money for this month but £20-30 was spent on job hunting (travel, printing docs, new top, tights etc), so I will allow myself £20 on food until end of month. Will keep job hunting expenses separately from now on :)

Had a quite big cereal spend at the weekend as DH has started trying to reduce gluten from his diet, the cereal is normally quite expensive but at the carboot someone who always seems crisps biscuits and popcorn was selling gluten free cornflakes for £1 a box so we got 10 boxes.
Have added this and my weekend shop to my sig total.
