  • Almost an NSD today as waiting in for a delivery. I have oxtail stew in the oven, making do with frozen green beans and peas as sides plus dumplings, making some bread too but we are almost out of milk so DH will have to pick some up tonight. Would do without but DS has a cup of milk at night and in the morning. So close lol

A CROSS £17:35! Electric toothbrush died so replaced wth battery one + spare heads = £8. Also needed lightbulbs. Well, one. They were on 3 for 2 so I hummed about it then got 3. Smashed one as soon as I unloaded the car. Grr! My own fault.

£5.35 on actual food - YS mushrooms, pancakes, tea cakes and cupcakes; 6 eggs; 200g own label ground coffee, worth a punt to see if it's drinkable! Probably is, I can only tell if it's fierce bitter, everything else is fine!

Made fritatta yesterday and it was delicious so making another today for next 2 days lunches.

    Hi All,
Had my first spends of the Feb grocery challenge today...£13.
Funny part is that my lovely OH went to the shops today and bought pretty much the same stuff!! Ha Ha! I normally do all of the shopping so this is random but also hilarious...lots of banana and apple recipes will be utilised this fortnight!! :rotfl:

Love hearing about all your bargains! :)
Married in 2016. Bought our first home in 2017. Expecting our first baby in November 2017

Managed a NSD yesterday but had some spends today
Homebargains - £12.06 but this included a large box of tbags and a fry light spray oil which was only £1.50 compared to £2.20 elsewhere
Sainsbys - £2.13 on ys stilton, ys teacakes, ys spring rolls

On another note had a bit of a result today when we brought petrol at Sainsbys garage using a voucher we had for 10p off a litre and the girl gave us the voucher back so fingers crossed it will work again as we need to fill up our other car too
