February's budget intact on day one and hope that tomorrow it is still the same.
Today we had roast chicken, roast potatoes and veg. I brought some frozen cauli as the fresh didn't look nice and then just as we were finishing our meal I realised it was still in the freezer. :o
Just have to decide if it was a blonde moment or a senior one. DH said that at my age he doubted it was the first. :o

    Hello

I'm declaring another budget of £ 200 for February.

Only went over £ 4 last month so it should be doable.

  • Very proud of myself today, spent 3hrs at Mr M's check out while DS2 packed bags for his British dance comp and I am declaring my first NSD of the month. Not setting a target of these, but am going to keep a tab on them and see how I go, will keep tabs in my sig of how I do.

Updating here and had some big spends in the past two weekends. I've set my budget to see actually what we do spend and so far we are approving it pretty quickly!

I am taking a 'speculate to accumulate' approach this month, using up vouchers to stock up the freezer and cat food/litter at the start of the month so we might not need much by the end of it. So here goes:

Mr T £32.40 on cat food - The big bags of dry food were on offer so I got two while they were there. And Frosties for the DH!
A!di £38.57 on food, but this included a lot of meat! Got family sized beef and lamb joints and a chicken which I have duly portioned up and put in the freezer.
Mr T £11.07- Cat litter here again but that will last the month out now.
L!dl £18.20 on fresh stuff for the week.

So my total is now £136.07/200. Sorry I can't do colour on my tablet.
  • Evening all!
Sorry, been ill this week and not totalled it up yet! Can you put me down for another £100 this week please?
