Our mortgage company actually updated their valuations so they state we own 81% of the house. 19% to go.Another job for today is to investigate moving power supplier. I can’t decide if I should or shouldn’t but I do want away from this dreadful company that caused so much hassle for months.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Sorry to hear about the house news but it sounds like you feel it's the best decision for you all. I'm still waiting for estimated projections from current energy supplier, it would be nice to have some kind of idea of what we will be paying the next few months.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!4

I did look at our energy supplier against a few others and I think we are better off staying. Frustrating but I don’t see The point of cutting our nose off to spite our face!
Productive day of pottering in the garden. I repotted some house plants and emptied our little wildlife pond. Need to go and get some pond plants to purify the water as it’s been neglected for a year or so now.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

£10.26 in from prolific and £6 cashback from Shopmium.Used a fair amount of the Amazon vouchers to buy some tablemats and some decent chopping boards. Also bought myself a book which I don’t do very often anymore but really trying to decrease the use of plastic and chemicals so going to make our own cleaning materials.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

The book annoyingly arrived damaged but on flicking through it, it isn’t quite as good as I expected so I’ll return it.Still chasing up £20 from ipsos for a panel group that I did.And even though it’s only the 9th of the month I feel we’ve reached that nothingness part of the month in terms of money shuffling.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Stalking one poll website today as I’m 9p from requesting payout.Returned the damaged book to Amazon. Did place another Amazon order though for some household bits.DH is researching wood to build new wood stores. Our current one needs replacing and moving so we are going to make two. One will need to look ok as it’s in the front Garden. The other we are going to use wood that we have around as it’s kinda hidden from view.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Payout reached and £25 requested though unlikely to hit bank this month.Prolific has been very active today and £13 waiting to be approved for payout. Half expecting a £5 survey to reject as it said it would take 40 mins and it took me 10 mins.Such a wet wet day today. Did a washing load but had to tumble dry.Braved looking at the electricity estimates for next year and they reckon a £677 rise. Have jigged the budget to save £200 a month for electric ( we don’t have gas ) but will need to save more than that to give us a buffer. Also signed up for the Wealthify tip on MSE email this week. £50 invested and worse case I get that bavk but figure I can lock away £50 for a year and see what happens.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
