I love being able to buy that stuff with survey money ... my latest exciting acquisition was two lightbulbs :)
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Good day on prolific yesterday but still waiting for surveys to clear to cash out.

Some cashback reached payable so requested Amazon vouchers. Returned something DS bought from there so waiting for that to credit before placing my every growing order.

Also had a product arrive to test. Fabric softener. Actually smells lovely so keen to see how that pans out.

Wet wet wet here today. Need to plant some seeds in the propagator but apart from that and getting out for what is looking like a wet walk, no other plans.

Will probably lose myself in a book.

How long does the One Poll payout take, DFOD? Is it really the 28/30 days they say when you request it? I requested mine 29/01, so just wondering how much longer I have to wait!

You're miles ahead of me this month, got no chance of catching up with that amount!
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!

Yes it is roughly the time they say. So annoying but a nice surprise when it does land as I’ve usually forgotten about it by then!

  • Got unexpected £10 voucher through for an award the kids did. Technically theirs but it’s for a garden centre so they will choose something but it’ll be something I would of chosen knowing them.

Our deck is like an ice rink today. Wind chill says -8 degrees so DH is being dispatched to the library and the supermarket and then it’s an afternoon of rugby and reading.

Debating what to do with March money. Council tax free month again and it’s the month where a certain benefit hits twice as they pay four weekly. Will have about £700 surplus in total. Having paid the OP off before £1000 I am now saving over £1000 to pay off so the monthly amount adjusts. Tempted to put most of it towards mortgage OP and then concentrate on building up the savings pot over the summer.

Thank you - definitely no chance of forgetting it though, I need it if I'm going to hit my target this month!

  • Such a nice change in the weather yesterday. Felt positively Spring like!

Did a bit of penny jiggling in the pots.  I don’t know what I did around payday but I make an error somewhere so the savings pot is looking woeful this month as I seemed to conjure up money that didn’t exist so only added about £41 to the savings total so far this month.

Still waiting for prolific surveys to clear and annoyingly need 2 point on Ipsos to hit £5 payout.
Plan for today is some home ed (we don’t stop much for school holidays) we just do less and at the minute it’s part of our routine keeping us sane. Weather is looking dry so might take kids down a beach to run off some energy.
