Thanks South coast and KC. Like I said a necessary task. Also realised we didn’t have access online to two pensions so have sorted that and updated statements are on the way to us as apparently they don’t issue them every year as the figures hardly change.Did some worse case planning as well as to what the situation would look like minus me or DH. Not nice, but again necessary. DH wasn’t too impressed to see exactly how much more he is worth to me not alive 😂😂😂. He has zero interest in the money side of life and leaves it to me. I’m not sure he even knows what bank we are with 😂DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Today’s three things to achieve
1 Get outside, it was so truly miserable all day yesterday we didn’t and I felt it and the kids were generally grumpy.2 Count to 10 and breathe. Practise a little more patience with my family. Lockdown getting to me a bit this week so I need to get over that.3 Stick to healthy eating plan. Not managed it once in January. I blame lockdown (but really I blame me)DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Lockdown is getting to all of us!!3

I'm sure you're right to get outside, debtfree, I hope it's not snowing where you are.2023: the year I get to buy a car3

I'm sure you're all over it, but my approach to lockdown 33 and home schooling is to have a little plan for the day that I've sorted the evening before. Not too rigid, but I find I handle it much better than working it out as we go along! I also end up sticking to it as well, for example it was torrential rain at lunchtime but I made sure I still went out for my run. It has definitely helped me to stay more composed and make sure the kids get their work covered, and that I can spend equal time with each of them, equal time where they need to crack on independently and then when I can do my major work tasks.
Fresh air is the key, despite the cold! "There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!"...allegedly!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......3 -
I failed on getting outside. It’s just so wet here and misty. I practice the whole no such thing as bad weather but one kid off colour and I’ve had a bad head so we decided to stay put. I’ve told them we are out for the afternoon tomorrow whatever!!! I’ll just put on my waterproofs if necessary.Productive money day. We buy books paid up so £15.16 divvied up. 37p from TCb converted to Amazon. Money earned up to £63.85.Savings up to £206.36/£2000 and mortgage OP pot up to £277.06/£2500. Have depleted the Amazon stash somewhat treating the kids to some stationary as they’ve been so good getting back into home ed after Christmas and just in general with lockdown. Not far off payment with profilic and Ipsos. The less said about 1poll the better. I either get screened out or the surveys freeze half way through.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

You didn't fail on your plan to get out, debtfree: like Jimmy says, plan but not too rigidly - with two of you off colour, that calls for a change of plan. And that's nice to treat the kids to some jolly stationery2023: the year I get to buy a car1
