Glad to hear that things are moving on the diagnosis front. We're looking at £3000 for a private assessment but I'm hoping we can do it through the NHS as that would mean travelling a long way too. We will no doubt still be waiting for an appointment by the time you're all finished.
It's a weird feeling as you sort of want a diagnosis but sort of don't. It's nice to know someone in a similar situation anyway so thank you for sharing your experiences. xxx
Why £3000 we paid £1600 for a multi assessment incl PDA (which DS didn't have) - message me for more details if you need them. DS got a diagnosis which actually fitsSealed pot challenge 822

Nice weekend and just chilling out before we go off to a NT place today which has loads of Christmassy stuff going on. Sat last night and ploughed through wrapping all the FC pressies - thankfully had enough 'different' paper so I won't get the 'mummy, why does Santa have the same wrapping paper as us' question I got last year. Have the dog and cat gifts to wrap and I am done, but will do those later this week or else they will both go mad smelling those out.
Just need to menu plan for this week and start making the food shopping list, our freezer is in desperate need of a defrost, so plan is to do this just after Christmas and run down all our food stocks and use them up!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Have a lovely time
We always have to have different paper for FC gifts (in stockings) too so I need to ensure there's enough of it to wrap 4 sets of stocking gifts. I try and buy a roll of something I wouldn't ordinarily choose so I'm not tempted to wrap anything else in it - and then I have to hide any leftovers

The benefit of DD knowing about FC is that I don't need to worry about wrapping paper.
@dawnybabes - there's only 1 clinic in the country that has all the necessary equipment and know-how to diagnose FASD and I've been informed it's £3000 for a private diagnosis. It's mad - much better in other countries.
Hope you enjoyed the NT place dfod!! We did one too - it was packed!!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

We ended up going elsewhere yesterday, firstly so I could get an annual locals pass as a theatre group we enjoy are on there in January and the cost of the locals pass was cheaper than buying 4 tickets - plus we got to spend yesterday there and will use them loads over the next year. Loads of Christmassy stuff going on and we stayed into the evening as there was an awesome light show. Off today to see a friend and collect some stuff. Will go to NT tomorrow though as there is something specific that we want to do there.
Payday for DH. Little bit more due to a Christmas bonus so I've divvied his up, strange as I'm still waiting for money to come in from last month and i've already portioned out next months. Think I get paid Thursday or Friday. Nice but hate the long wait till January payday!
Have a good day all!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I was surprised to find OH's pay was in too. The wait for the next payday feels like a lifetime but this year we have our lovely pot of tax money so for once I don't mind!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%
