What a rubbish week you've all had. I hope you feel better soon. We've seen a lot more illness than usual this winter.

I think it's £1500 well spent - just hope it all goes smoothly and quickly for you.

  • So manic round here, but that's typical of end of term and Christmas!

Everyone recovered, littlies had a lovely birthday weekend and now it's full steam ahead of Christmas parties, christmas lunches, christmas plays and carol services.. Roll on the end of term!

  • Finally finally finally reached payout on m1ndm0ver and requested £21 in am@zon vouchers - determined to leave that in there till next Christmas.

Spoke to the GP today to get a referral sent to the place that are doing our private assessment and need to book in for a medical for DS. Pleased to get off the ground with his assessment, hoping by the start of the summer term, we know what we are looking at (although in my heart I already know, I'm sure)

Job situ remains wobbly and will be for a while I reckon. Anyhoo for now, I've finished work and roll on 19 lovely days off.

Glad to hear that things are moving on the diagnosis front. We're looking at £3000 for a private assessment but I'm hoping we can do it through the NHS as that would mean travelling a long way too. We will no doubt still be waiting for an appointment by the time you're all finished. :) It's a weird feeling as you sort of want a diagnosis but sort of don't. It's nice to know someone in a similar situation anyway so thank you for sharing your experiences. xxx

  • Any time Amy! We will still have to do the LA assessment to get it recognised and support put in place, but for now I just want him supported.

£2 survey on pr0filic this morning and a few surveys on Youg0v mean I'm up to £31 on there and 1193 points on Ips0s, so not far from payoff there.

Bank cashback has tracked so £48 to clear and then I've got over £50 to withdraw for Am@zon and will just leave it in there for next year Christmas etc.

Ordered two last presents today and I am close to saying I'm done, just need to get DH some coffee with the shopping this week (i've just ordered my present from him) - we are going small and there was some face stuff I wanted, so might as well get what i need. 50% as well!

CC's updated and both under £1000 - chuffed with that.

Got slight increase in my hours for the next 8 months, selfishly this will pay for DS's assessment, but it also makes work a lot easier, will miss my Fridays at home though :-(

Off to see the littles in a carol concert soon and then off to club and then the hols can really start!

  • Feeling well and truly Christmassy today.

DS had a birthday party yesterday which he enjoyed and DD spent a girlie day with me as we got a last few bits for Christmas.

Off to a market today and to also see a Christmas puppet type of show. Christmas jumpers are required!

Hoping to go and do some NT trust this week as well to really get in the mood. After failing to secure a food delivery slot, I have to run the gauntlet as well and actually go do a shop this week.
