Nice day, until I came home. Pup is being very hard work and keeps trying to get the cat. Two wet animals contained in one room with two noisy littlies just about did me in. Any tips as to how to get the dog to leave the cat alone welcome! £24 spent dispatching pup to training classes tonight for the next 6 weeks. Just hoping he bucks his ideas up or I'll be having a stern word with him!! :-)

Spends on a cream tea today and a kettle for £18 which is actually rather good.

Just withdrew £13 from Pcone, also need to get a few items on fleabay in next few days.

Off out tomorrow for the day quite a way away, so sure I will be knackered tomorrow night. Doesn't help DS's sleep pattern is even more mad at the minute and he isn't getting past 4am most mornings now. Zzzzzzz

When we got our greyhound, we gradually introduced him to the cats. We kept the dogs in the lounge and locked the cats out (they had access to the rest of the house). A few times a day, we'd put the dog on a lead (to control his location) and let the cats into the lounge. Whenever a cat would wander by, we'd call the dog and praise him/give him treats for paying attention to us and not the cats. (This helped both in distracting him and getting him to think of us as cool people, though it's possibly backfired a bit as he has no sense of personal space! That's also probably just him.)

I think it took about a week before we just had everyone loose in the house and everyone was calm/chill. It was a lot easier to restrict the dog's location and let the cats choose when to interact than to try and force any encounters.

Few hours at work today and then a nice afternoon in sun / wind / rain with the littlies.

Not sure what to do tomorrow, quite fancy the flicks to watch something with them. BFG is on, but DH reckons it might be a bit scary for them.

£13 in from Pcone and towards the food bill.

Shelved the flicks today and will save the pennies instead! Few hours at home and then we will go for a stomp in a local wood... and see what we can find!

Weather looks ok,, bit sunshiny and a bit cloudy - but we can cope with that!

Not sure if you know this but most of the cinemas do movies for juniors DF0D. This is basically movies that have been out for a while and it costs less than £2 per person! I usually book online and its even cheaper! Might be worth a look? xx

Thanks MTG, living where we do, it's a 3 hour round trip to cinemas who do that and then parking etc as they are city centres. We have an independent one less than 3 miles away which is quirky as hell, but in terms of travel, parking and petrol - its worth it.

Ended up on a national trust walk today which took us high on the coastal path - it was lovely. Lots of fresh air for us all..

Looking forward to DH breaking up for his hols tomorrow.

Some uniform arrived for DD yesterday which she tried on this morning and declared she hated it! So that's £14 saved as to be fair it was additional stuff that she could do without.

Quiet morning at home and then off for DS to watch / try a club out, trying to encourage DD to do it as well as think it will be good for her too, but it's really well thought of and lots of GP's refer kids there when they have issues like DS. Just hoping for once he gives it a go.

4 things sold on fleabay yesterday so need to get them posted today or tomorrow. Probably made about £8 after fees which will go straight to the CC.

We've visitors for the next few days now so will probably won't be around much!
