Not a fantastic night with woofer, but to be expected.. he has slept so much today, if only I could have done the same!
Probably about a 1/8 of the slabs laid (think I underestimated the amount there was!!)DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Hi DFOD,
I hope all is well, I hope the garden is going well. We need to lay slabs really but have left it as we want to move next year!
What have you got planned over the summer holidays?

Hi all,
Hubby randomly transferred me £200 this week and said I could use it for whatever. This can count as the £200 left of his Nan's money so I will add this to house savings.
At the moment it will be put in with my £50 which is waiting to be put somewhere. This could be used as some of my m@tched betting float which will help me make more money!
So this means we currently have £9200 saved :T:T:T:T:T So just £800 to get to our £10k goal for August. £500 will go into our is@s as a definitely and we have the £400 we have both committed to in our other savings account so we should reach £10,100 if we just do our minimum though it might be £10,350 if I can do £400 into my lloyds again.
Money is tight at the mo as I have paid into savings but doable.
I am continuing to run which is okay - i'm not hating it yet! I'm eating well so perhaps I could shift a couple of pounds before my holiday.
Focus on payday - sort holiday spending money.

Well what a busy few weeks that was. MSE's right by the wayside.
Been knocked sideways a bit by DS's appointment and confirmation of his diagnosis. even though I expected it all along, I guess a bit of me was hoping it wasn't that, but it is and now we need to deal with it.. I'm half expecting a further diagnosis in time..
I popped into School for his teacher to complete a questionnaire and that made for really tough reading, it's like the report you never receive.. and I guess that also hit home then just what the School are having to deal with as well..
Off to the school summer fair today on the beach and it's forecast rain, but will go anyway to support them. £20 is the spends and that's it.
DH paid tomorrow and so I can make some payments and see where we are again. Bought School shoes this week and a few other bits, so it's a bit all over the place.
Also need more supplies for the garden.. DH is doing awesome out there, we are probably 2/3rds of the way through, but will run out of sand today.
If anyone remembered the part part time job I did last year, but only did it for a short time, I've been contacted again to see if I'm interested and i'm not going to let this one go so off to meet someone next week to discuss that.
Been active on surveys this week:
£20 in from Ips0s and £29.04 from TCB, promptly spent at Am@zon on things that I needed for DS and books for me that the therapist said to read.
Signed up for the big summer read at the library and must have 30 books in the kitchen for them to read. I am that mummy that still makes them read every day as I think they lose so much over this long break, plus it keeps them in the routine of doing it and routine is good for DS. We're also doing a scrap book where they are writing a sentence each day of something they have done and sticking things in or drawing a picture if they want to.. Just so they keep up their writing skills.
What a waffle filled post.
Happy Sunday you guysDFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Hope you've had a good day down at the summer fayre DF0D.
Awwww love your idea of what you're getting the kids to do. DD2 has made herself a little book and she was writing on Friday about going out for tea in it!
Im glad you've finally got a diagnosis for DS. That does seem pretty quick I must say. Thinks with our LA seem to take forever.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend xMummytogirls x0 -
I'm one of those Mums too - a little bit of reading, a little bit of writing and a little bit of maths every day! DD has already got her first scratch and sniff cards from the summer reading challenge. I know lots of people think that the summer holiday should be time "off" school, but at 5, learning should be every day. I also like that she won't start year one further back than where she finished. I'm going to do the holiday diary idea too and get her to stick stuff in. Maths is the hardest as she hates it, but I'm hoping to come up with some games and might try some of the online ones.
I'm glad you have a diagnosis for your son, although it's pretty hard to hear. Now you can start to move forward and get support.

So little time to be in here at the moment between the puppy and the littlies.
DH's pay in and I reckon we will be able to pay off about £1k.. but we have also had to buy more garden supplies, so I'll be chuffed if we could get under £999 this month and maybe maybe clear it next month?
Also bought the kids new mattresses, they had waterproof ones and DD has been dry for years and I give up hope of DS ever being dry at night. They are just too uncomfortable now though and DH suffers if he ends up in there at night if the kids decamp with me.
Did a proper day out yesterday with the littlies and it was so nice just to go out without worrying about the pup (DH worked at home) Off to vets today for microchipping and first vacs and then we will get him out and about..
Very little survey action for the last two days and tonight I need to lock myself in the kitchen and do some work work in advance of popping in tomorrow to do some printing.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Ha, just looked at the balances and spending which I knew was a fair bit, I reckon a goal to get under £1499 is more realistic this mont.
