Debt updated at £1730.29.. gone up a bit.. not quite sure why that's gone up, but that's it now - all figures updated.. not sure realistically how much that will come down now this month.. but onwards and downwards to the end.. I'm going to say October for my debt free date.. but hopeful it will be September..
I do finally think the end is in sight!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Unexpected £10 in today from a survey.. so ready to cash out on £20 nearly, but Am@zon vouchers currently out of stock so I need to hang fire with that for a while.
Still got home ed rumbling around in my head.. really really feel I want to do it and I'll regret it if I don't..DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Is there a home ed network where you live? It's very popular here. My friend has so many groups and activities to do each day.Mortgage Jan 13 99260.00 87253 April 2017

There is and I'm beginning to piece together what a week might look like for us. Literally the only thing stopping me is money and not wanting to worry about living month to month.. we could probably manage that, it's any unforeseen costs that might bite us hard, plus we couldn't OP the mortgage etc.. meaning DH would be working longer.
Then it's the whole am I being selfish to everyone to do it and would they be better in School..
Sigh, hate big decisions.. and to be fair - this is a biggie!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I wonder if the school would be willing to consider a more flexible option? I know it causes problems with the curriculum but some people have found a way for their children to do school part-time, HS part-time. Seeing as they're only in year one, the things they are learning are pretty basic and would be fairly easy for you to do at home.
Alternatively, maybe you could plan for HS, see how year one goes (a change of teacher can make a huge difference) and then if you're having the same issues, you're ready to go.
It's hard isn't it? They're your babies and you want what's best for them. We did some home-schooling with DD for a few months (we always planned for her to start school but wanted more time to bond) but she got increasingly reluctant to do anything that involved words or numbers, and was constantly watching the kids coming home from school longingly! Every child is different though.
I hope you come to a decision that suits you all. xxxMortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

That's roughly the plan Amy as I need to save pennies, they will have the Autumn term to see how things go with their new teacher and also DS will have had his assessment by then so proper support should be in place.
The thing that is rumbling this all inside my head at the mo, is there is a chance I could opt for VR at work and obviously if we were going to do HE, then I would and get some pennies behind us. I'm probably going to need to make a decision on that though September time..DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Im sure everything will work out DF0D. You sound like you just need to enjoy the summer, then see how the Autumn term goes and take it from there. 1 school year is totally different from the next in my experience.
Enjoy your weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -

Nothing really planned for the weekend, bit of work in the kitchen, painting the last few bits and putting the skirting on. Blackboard wall will be finished as well.. All garden supplies coming Monday so that will be next weekend sorted. (hoping we might crack it in a weekend - but haven't told DH that yet!)
