That was being discussed on twitter this evening ... I'm sure someone will do the math on the subject at some point lol0 -

Whilst I'm still very much in the Yes camp I have no desire to see a campaign just yet. In my opinion it's too early. I don't think it would go down too well with No voters and they are the ones who need convincing. All we can do is hope that events this year (EU ref) and further down the line will possibly change opinion.
I'd be quite happy to see Yes stalls in our cities giving out leaflets etc for anyone interested in research.0 -
I think the plan is to be prepared for the next one more than start one ... make sure everything is in place and all q's answered ... and things like wee stalls
Robin says maybe 2020/2021 but there's a lot of work to do between now and then
This time I will be watching from the sidelines and going to the parties ... George Square and myself will get newly acquainted lol0 -

It doesn't matter as it's a UK wide vote. It has nothing to do with the divisiveness of the SNP.
That the SNP has tried to make it a divisive issue is unsurprising but doesn't make them right. Who cares what Scotland or Wessex thinks about EU membership? What counts is the view of the British people.0 -

I agree with preparation being important. All I can add is well done to those who have the heart & enthusiasm for it. I couldn't contemplate going through 2014 again so soon! While it was an amazing year, Scotland was on fire & I loved it I've no steam left right now. I very much sit on the sidelines at the moment.0 -

I'd argue it's yet another vote showing how Scotland is powerless & if we vote differently to our neighbours in England it hammers home how increasingly divergent we are politically.0 -

only you define the problem in racist terms
scotland has the same population as Yorkshire but no-one in yorkshire expects to have total power in westminster.
of course they get less money that the racist scots too0 -
Ahhh I see what's happened here ... you must've missed the bit where Wales and Ireland also asked for a separate date ... I can understand that though ... it happens often when people are bashing the SNP
No one is bashing the SNP. Merely pointing out that the SNP cannot dictate on its own terms. Like oil prices the world moves on to different agendas.0 -
But it's not just the SNP that wanted a different date ... so did Wales and Ireland
Im positive there could've been a EU ref in September that would've been better for everyone0
