Salmond and Sturgeon Want the English Fish for More Fat Subsidies

No one ... not voting at all ... especially in another indy ref
. Although to be fair I ain't voting either ... but my reasons where different from theirs
I can't really see that happening to be honest. Not on any sort of large scale. And certainly not in an indy ref. Even if they cannot stand the SNP, if they were a Yes voter that still remains of the opinion that Scotland should be independent. Then they'll vote Yes again. We've already agreed that an independent Scotland is an opportunity for other parties and new ones to wipe the slate clean and that the SNP won't be in power indefinitely.
Not voting Yes in another indy ref down to Sturgeon, is the same mistake other's made when they voted No just because they 'didn't like Salmond'. And far too short sighted.
Holyrood is different. If they're not going to vote at all down to SNP party policy decisions they can't agree with. Then that's what politics is all about. Choice. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
I was thinking that myself ... and what I'm hearing is a lot of " I just don't trust Nicola, " ( have to admit I am also in that camp ... but can see it could be due to my trusting of Alex.. so I could be naturally biased)
But they just don't trust her, have to admit I thought I was in the minority in not trusting her ... they don't trust the others either ...
Maybe it will settle down closer to the time of the next Indy ref ...0 -

There's people all over my facebook/twitter feeds... who a year ago had BetterTogether and 'NoThanks' twibbons... in the last few hours posting viral pics about Saving Scottish Steel' and incensed about tax credit cuts. I guess any Yes voters changing their minds, might be made up for. Labour in particular seem to be in the firing line.. mainly for feeding the Steel Unions the line that their jobs would be much safer if they advised all their members to vote No.* Which of course they did.
* No one is claiming jobs would have been safer if there was a Yes vote. Just that that 'risks' are always there either way. Some just waking up to that now.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

I know a few that are losing their jobs in Tata ... They detest the SNP with a passion, tried to talk to them during indy ref, not interested at all
Wonder how they will react if the SG manages to save their jobs0 -

I have to admit I don't ever see me at the hug a no voter stage tbh
They made their beds ... can't really complain now that they got what they wanted0 -

Except Independence won't be the opportunity to wipe the slate clean for other parties, or new parties to gain ground and start again will it? As SNP will be in power for at least a decade if not longer. So it would be SNP way all the way.
You've just stated Labour were guaranteed seats for around 40 years up here, so SNP will get a nice run too, followed by your assertion half the voters don't trust any of the other parties anymore, but trust SNP and like their policies.
So which is it?0 -

Why don't they trust her? Or the others.?0 -
Well that was an interesting one ... it seems they can't fully put their finger on it but it's a combination of several wee things... she has certainly taken the party to the left compared to wee Eck and that might be something to do with it0
