Is that a parody? Surely someone has photoshopped that.
Yes .... But it's pretty much exactly what the SNP apologists say every time there's a nat scandal.
If this was a labour mp the screeches of outrage from the SNP Fury Chimps would have been deafening all weekend.
Instead the silence was deafening as nationalists spent the last 48 hours trying to ignore it and desperately change the subject if it came up....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Anyway.... Now the real questions need to be answered.
Who in the SNP knew, how much did they know, and when did they know it?
As I said, this one will run and run......“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Before the election, when it became clear that the SNP were basically going to sweep the board in Scotland I said that it would create problems.
When Ms Thomson was selected for Edinburgh West the SNP can't have imagined that she ever had a chance of being voted in to Westminster. The ever reliable (haha) Wikipedia shows that the SNP more than tripled their vote in that constituency in 2015 over 2010 from ~6,000 to well over 21,000. Why bother vetting candidates that simply aren't going to win?
It's no wonder that the SNP don't allow their MPs to speak their minds.0 -
160,000 new Labour members post Corbyn, and the SNP left flat footed in Scotland now they have been unceremoniously booted off their socialist platform.
Cameron stymied in England as anything he says will either drive people to Labour or the SNP.
It looks like Labour are calling the shots.0 -
Sturgeon's Shame.
SNP' 2014 embargo on a living wage for Scottish workers.

That's not true .. my son doesn't want independence he wants federalism but he voted Yes as he just knew they wouldn't keep their word, he wanted a third option on the ballot, so did Alex but it wasn't allowed .... I know many yes voters that want federalism actually ... admittedly a lot of them now want full independence but last year they wanted federalism but voted Yes as it was the closest or best option for them
Neither you nor your son voted with the hope or expectation of near federalism. You both voted for Independence full stop.
All this Vow not being delivered omplaining is just convenient white noise for SNP., to keep focus off their behaviour as an opposition party instead of being in government. And for other non SNP but Yes voters to vent their annoyance at not being able to persuade enough voters to vote Yes.
But your annoyance should rest with SNP, who despite a lifetime of campaigning , the best circumstances ever, with loads of help from small independent minded Yes groups on the ground, were so badly ill prepared for an Independent Scotland, had to resort to winging it, Alex Salmond style.
Anyone with any insight, who watched the documentary Alex the Rebel, would quickly realise, that with the exception of Eck of the inflated ego, no one else in SNP ever had any real expectation of being anything other than an opposition party in Scotland. Never mind thinking themselves capable of being anything other than that.
And it shows. It really does. Never mind won't be too long now till the Sturgeon issues a statement regarding Michelle Thomson which includes the phrase ' after a robust and thorough Blah blah.0 -

Never change ruggedtoast. You are comedy gold.0 -
SNP bedroom tax connivance. The vote Sturgeon would rather forget!
SNP MP's fail to vote against the hated bedroom tax in 2014. Presumably they were too busy fiddling mortgages to be bothered.
