oh dear
Jes and Nicola have fallen out of love so soon
and yet they agree on so much
hatred of the English
wish to borrow for ever
lying to the people
belief that nuclear weapons (that haven't killed a single person in the last 50 years) are evil but conventional weapons that have killed millions in the last 50 years and have killed today and will on Monday , are OK
life is bizarre0 -
Apropos of nothing, it's Aris not arris.
Aristotle => bottle => bottle and glass => ar se
A common mistake sadly.0 -

Yes that's right Clapton. You've nailed that there. The reason there is so much violence in the world is down to a lack of nuclear weapons.
If only people would see things your way.
Now that's settled , let's look at a Smiley eating a chocolate rabbit.

wrong as usual: remember to run your ranting past your parents and grandparents before posting
but what we both agree about is that the millions killed (and being killed today) is totally unrelated to nuclear weapons
sadly Corbyn could have saved lives by not supporting the killing IRA and hamas rather than his juvenile ranting about nuclear weapons.0 -
Excerpts from the solicitors hearing.....The Tribunal consider that the features of these transactions were such that the Respondent must have been aware that there was a possibility that he was facilitating mortgage fraud,
It must have been glaringly obvious to the Respondent that something was amiss when cash backs of £27,000 or £28,000 from the seller to the purchaser were involved
given the ongoing course of conduct, the large number of
transactions involved, the Respondent’s knowledge of the central role of Mrs A (now identified by the Times as Michelle Thomson) and Company 3, which should have set alarm bells ringing
I've now read the transcript and it looks very damning indeed... Appears the former MD of Business for Scotland, and SNP MP, and SNP Business Spokesperson, Michelle Thomson, may well have committed 13 counts of Mortgage Fraud.
This one ain't going away.....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Presumably by overpaying for the houses and having cash kicked back to the vendor, Ms Thomson has evaded capital gains taxes at the expense of overpaying SDLT so there is an element of tax fraud too.0 -

I rather suspect it'll be quite a long list of criminal offences that are about to be investigated.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Corbyn is offering consensual leadership on Trident. He knows disarmament is controversial, is willing to make a case for it, but also willing to accept the majority view.
Thats exactly the kind of reasonable compromise over a difficult issue that would appeal very much to the (wo) man in the street. It's a good sign that Scottish views would be taken into account in a Labour gov. Its also a refreshing change from the half cocked I know best now u turn later, bullying bluster of the focus group led Mainstream MPs.
Cameron, and Alex Salmond, might take note.
So yes, kaboom, that's another artillery shell right in the middle of Sturgeon's groping to connect with the scot lefts grass roots. If the SNP is now a single issue party agitating for independence to move Trident marginally more southwards in the British Isles, while remaining in NATO, then she is in trouble.
Kazang. That was an SNP policy ammo dump blowing up. Watch them run while in danger of being shot by their own bullets.
Cameron can have some some as well.
Corbyn is coming.
You've completely missed the point. Mhari Black put it in a nutshell... it's not enough for Corbyn to be against Trident.. Labour have to be against Trident. All Corbyn has done is prove he can't even secure a debate on it, at his own party's conference, while he's the leader of the party. The rest of the Labour party don't want to even discuss it. I like Corbyn, but I was hoping the rest of the party might give him a real chance on contentious issues like these. Really get debating and throwing ideas about. There's little point in him leading anything much if only 30 Labour MP's ever support him on votes like Trident etc.. and the other 200 vote otherwise.
However, I do hear there will be a debate about the Tv licence fee.. Looking forward to that instead... :cool:It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

I have no idea to be honest, it's a phrase my husband uses a lot. I should've just typed.. Corbyn made a complete t i t of himself instead. But I didn't want to offend sensibilities.;)It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
