They all go native eventually. Look at Gerry Adams meeting Prince Charles!

Salmond will enjoy feeding from the Westminster top table. Ne might even invite Nicola to hop on the National Express overnighter and come join him for a spot of brekkie.

Salmond's been there before. And enjoyed completely disrupting the 1988 Tory Budget. I wouldn't make too many assumptions on him 'going native' just yet. And anyway, he'll have 50 new MP's to 'advise'.

Right, off to a wedding. Have a good day everyone.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Am looking forward to Osborne coming through on his promises for more billions towards the NHS, right to buy on housing association houses and an iron clad law barring him from tax rises etc over the next few years. I think the Tories made a lot of promises over the election campaign that they didn't intend to keep on on the basis that they thought they'd be watered down via a coalition/minority govt. But he certainly wasn't promising it would be all cuts was he ?

Perhaps we should ask for this thread to be moved to the MoneySaversArms. If it's just going to be a dirge of political rants.

Wel Thrugelmir, I was wondering if a new thread entitled something like
SNP plotting; triumphs, tricks and treason

Which would track the antics of the SNP machine in Westminster and speculate on what they are up to. It might prove to be an entertaining. There will be a lot of spin that will need debunking on both sides.

Any support for that? More than 7 thanks (from either or both sides of our friendly discussions) and I'll go for it or I might do it anyway.

would you applaud the Holyrood budget speech being interrupted in a Salmondesk manner by a non SNP person?

That would be a great idea actually ... we should have one for Labour Tory Ukip and Libdems as well ... unless ofcourse you think its only the SNP that are worth discussing ?

Just hearing the latest on Frenchgate.... surely Carmichael needs sacked for that? what a waste of money to investigate this and he denied it all the time, maybe he should be forced to pay the fee's for the investigation as well, he should've told the truth...

I would like to think so ... If not it should be changed, there should be certain things that warrant sacking and to my reckoning this should be one of them

do you mean that any MP caught lying should be sacked?

or do you mean that any MP lying about the SNP cultists should be sacked?

so e.g. should Philippa Whitford be sacked ?
