Salmond and Sturgeon Want the English Fish for More Fat Subsidies

Once you get parts of FFR implemented do you think the desire for independence will be as strong?
FFR/FFA sounds closer to the DevoMax concept which many on here told me was what they wanted in the first place.
Just my opinion, but if FFA was given then I'm sure it would appease many a voter for Independence.
Thing is, I'm hearing on the radio that what is being offered is not even in accordance with the Smith Commission, let alone FFA.
Lets see if FFA is granted.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

the Smith commission recommended that the Barnett style Scottish subsidy should continue.
No Scottish government would agree such a deal that didn't continue the subsidy because they would lose office for 50 years.
Obviously they will use the usual excuses (evil English) which all the acolytes will religiously repeat.
So no possibility of FFA as Nicola would be too clever to actual agree such a devastating deal for Scotland before independence.
Assuming the Scottish 2016 elections go to plan, Nicola will be pushing for a new referendum on the basis that the evil English haven't given Scotland FFA.0 -

Lets stop right there.
The Smith commission was a cross party consensus
Your talking b0llocks yet again trying to infer that "No Scottish Government would agree such a deal":wall:

You have editted my post in a manner that is a tribute to a untruthful stupid acolyte.

Even for an idiot that doesn't even know that the Scottish government subsidises their local council, you have reached a new low.0 -

LOL, You have truly lost it.
I didn't edit anything. I stopped after the first two sentences and stated "Let's Stop Right There" to highlight how wrong (once again) you are.
You would argue in an empty room.
Maybe you need one of those large paper bags to immerse yourself in a knock out all your frustrations:wall:

So Cameron and Sturgeon got through their meeting without a row.
Good. That will be later presumably - maybe - we'll see.
From the reports of that meeting so far, it seems to confirm that the intention is to legislate first with the Smith framework, rather than including the SNP druthers although they will be looked at. (Cameron will 'look at' proposals for further Scottish devolution).
The SNP wish list includes powers over business taxes, employment law, the minimum wage and additional powers over welfare. Some of these things are potentially divisive and damaging to the Union and will no doubt be argued about for some time.Union, not Disunion
I have a Right Wing and a Left Wing.
It's the only way to fly straight.0 -
Sturgeon has Cameron in a blue funk. Now she needs to steady her nerve and make the biggest political gamble of her life. Full fiscal autonomy with devo max.
The Tories of course are desperate for the UK's only left wing party not to make waves in case it starts giving the Sun reading serfs in England ideas. So he will beg Sturgeon to continue with Barnett in exchange for more benefit bungs.
She must not waver.0 -

Sturgeon has an election of her own in under 12 months time. So needs to keep herself on the front pages of the media. Trouble is other events may take precedence.0 -
