Radio 5 suggested this could be worth another 20-25 seats to Con.
I recall some controversy on it, the proposal being called self-interest and so on.
But they had a good point I think. As it is the boundaries are not democratically sized.Union, not Disunion

SNP have played brilliant chess either way. With Tories in power the drizzle of grievance will become a blizzard and independence will be expedited.0

If you read the SNP manifesto you would know.
- An end to austerity.
- Increased NHS funding.
- An end to child poverty.
- Trident scrapped.
- Abolition of the House of Lords.
- Increased MNW
To name but a few.
Thanks for the list;
On 1
We all want that but unfortunately to stop the debt running away from us with the consequent increased interest payments, we can't avoid some austerity.
On 2 Don't we all?
On 3 Don't we all?
On 4 Certainly, if it is backed by a majority in Parliament
On 6 Continued reform but not abolition; it is needed as, basically, the people's ombusdman
On 7 Don't know the term ?????

Without a sizable increase in the price of oil. Which at the current time is unlikely. Then the Scottish people as a whole aren't going to follow the Pied Pipers and jump like lemmings off a cliff. Underestimating the electorate was Ed's mistake.0 -

The majority of voters did not vote for Conservative, Labour, UKIP , Lib Dems or any other party.
29% didn't vote at all.
SNP is not a new party. Like Plaid Cmryu, Liberals, LibDems their fortunes will rise and wane with the moon.0 -

Who doesn't.
Requires everybody to make a contribution though. Placing an X on a piece of paper isn't the going to provide the solution.0 -
Labour stopped speaking up for the people of Scotland a long time ago... they became London centric Scotland has had enough and made its choice, so with the SNP going down our voice will be heard ... and loudly... it is gonna be an interesting time
As the third largest party I don't think the SNP will have any more influence than the Lib Dems had prior to the coalition government. Especially once the Tories introduce English votes for English laws. They will be needed less and less as decision making is devolved to Scotland.0
