Hardly 'infantilised' but more like 'politicised. Scotland has changed over the last couple of years. There is a political awareness, not present in England, (so much apathy and cynicism here :()!

I don't see much difference between an anti-politics vote for the Greens and UKIP in England than a Scot who ultimately will never vote for independence voting for the SNP in a UK general election.
There is a party currently polling around 15% who have a policy to end the Scottish subsidy and 'repatriate' the money to help fund the NHS, UK armed forces and raising the personal tax allowance to around £13K a year. That suggests to me that there is burgeoning political awareness in all areas of the UK.

If that's your version of political awareness, then you're in a very bad way.

I think it's more the racism rather than concern for the NHS that is driving those votes.

Obviously you're quite proud of your fellow countrymen!

is that the same racism as typified by
    'anyone but the English'
and the inappropriate de facto anthem of Flower of Scotland
and the blatant discrimination of the Scottish UNi policy againts the English young people?

If you vote SNP then you're voting for independence. There's not much argument to be had on that one.

So your claim is that support for independence has already fallen from 45% to about 42-43% since the referendum. Why do you think Scots are going off the idea of independence so quickly?

I suspect these SNP MPs will bury their noses as deeply in the trough as all the other MPs when they get to Westminster.

The SNP aren't the only party for independence in Scotland. Nor are all those that want independence a member or supporter of any particular party.
Exclusive: Bombshell Daily Record poll shows majority of Scots now support independence

A MAJORITY of Scots now back independence just six months after the referendum No vote, according to a sensational new poll.
The bombshell Daily Record survey shows that a repeat vote on Scotland’s future would see the public narrowly back a split by 51 per cent to 49 per cent.
The poll of more than 1000 Scots also found a growing appetite for another referendum on independence in the near future.

So support isn't falling. However, someone who votes SNP has to be aware, at least vaguely, that's it's one of the SNP's policies. And shouldn't be surprised if that's what they push for long term.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Why did the Yes campaign fail so badly then? I guess it was because Salmond couldn't wipe the tears from the eyes of every voter.:rotfl:
