My partner recently upgraded his phone as his renewal was due, the phone arrived and all was done.

Then another phone turned up totally unexpectedly. My partner contacted vodafone on several occasions and told them that they had made a mistake in sending out another phone. He asked them to arrange to collect the phone as it had been sent by them in error. They agreed but never turned up to collect it. The phone is still here waiting for them to collect.

They have now taken £602.83 out of my account (I pay the direct debit) without prior warning so now I cannot pay my bills. They have also changed my direct debit without warning and have taken out double the usual amount. My partners vodafone account has been changed, saying that he now has two phone accounts. All he wanted was his upgrade not another mobile phone account.

Is anyone from vodafone on this forum able to please help me so that I can pay my bills.

Thanks.
Sandra.

Contact your bank and ask them to reverse the direct debit under the direct debit guarantee so you can pay your bills in the meantime.

Just call vodafone directly and tell them. Got to be more efficient than posting on a forum which they may or may not see.

LOL, this is Vodafone being discussed.

Outside of forum reps like Lee there is NO customer service. You would get more help talking to a brick wall.

  • I contacted vodafone directly 3 times yesterday, got passed around the houses, still nobody could help me. I was on the phone for over an hour, they said someone would call me today, they haven't as yet.

Does anyone know how I can get hold of the vodafone rep on here at all please? I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall.
    Thanks.

Spend a few minutes on reading the replies?

EDIT: you seem to have already contacted them. Now just wait. There are just a few of them plugging numerous endless holes in this shambolic company. You are not the only one.

Meanwhile, stop wasting time on phone calls. Start a formal complaint, so that you could take the case to the ombudsman (or even to a Small Claims Court) ASAP should you need this.

You've already done that and you will hear from him.
Anything else is just a waste of time as he is the only member of the company you can rely on.
