  • I feel sick. Hope I don't throw up in the meeting.

It starts at 8pm. I haven't phoned the helpline, I'm just going to turn up. If I stand crying in the carpark for half an hour, hopefully someone will ask if I'm there for AA lol.

i was sick in my first meeting :) some meetings i go to have a greeter who will stand by the entrance survaying the area that people walk in to the meeting place. i'm sure if you've gone someone if not more have come and greeted you. i was amazed how nice people where at my first meeting.

I remember poeple sharinf things that i thought only i felt too. i thought peoploe must be drunk to say things like they were in public, i now see they are free from the bondage of themselve.

I'm really proud of you feelie you have done so well in making the decession to go , and if you didnt it don t matter, its small steps forwrd and you have shown you are willing which is a maasive plus 4u.

I hope to read about the experence of your first meeting when your ready to post it.. :)
If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.
  • Managed to persue OH to drop me off at the door. If he hadn't have walked me to the door I might well have run away!

Was a good meeting, glad I went. Seemed to feel very 'me'. Will try a few other meetings and see.

I hardly said anything and just stared at the floor the whole time, but it was good to listen.

And now I've finally got my garden back, I have somewhere to sit and read.

Edit to add - maybe now I'll be able to pluck up the courage to go to the supermarket lol.

So Is that not judgemental then ?

If you don't like the way i post on here then can i suggest you spend a bit more time here too helping/supporting people in the way you were ? to counter act what you don't like me saying. i don't wish to continue this disscussion over and over.

i take on board what has been said about everyone being different and have apoligised for my part in it. So im thinking i know what helped me and i'll speak about that, you know what helped you so you speak about that...... or what ever else you wanna speak about i don't mind.

As long as i'm feeling allright i have no need/reason to make what you or anyone else say wrong. i do have off days im not perfect however i can see in hindsight if i have one over the top and try and set matters straight if i can. this is the beatuy of the program i have in my life, i love my life today so sometimes i can come across a bit pushy as i'd like everyone to find what i have. i can only live and learn with this which i will if i keep doing what ive been shown/given.

I'm off to the meetinf i started back in dec now. so i hope everyone has a nice evening and i may be on later if im not too late back.. god bless;)

for a start off lewt, supporting people is about being able to be here and offer CONSTRUCTIVE support, so dont get knocking me for not doing something. if i dont think i can do it right, i prefer not to interfere at all. unlike some, i dont think i am perfect all the while
