At what age child should you morally stop using parent and child spaces

Don't agree with these spacesI wonder how many would use them if they were at the far end of the car park with a safe walkway?0

And don't forget precious Mummies and Daddies, as many on this forum have argued in the past, if all the P&C bays are taken, use your full entitlement and dump your car in the nearest disabled bay to the store as possible.
Hang those with greatest need! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

47% saying they don't agree with them. Wow! I only put that option in to cater for what I assumed would be a small minority.
Of the others, average age voted for so far is 5.7 years.0 -

They have these at one of the Sainsbury's I go to. They're great, there's a long covered footpath with disabled spaces backing on to either side at the store end and P&C space backing on at the far end. it's a shame they've given over some of the further spaces to car cleaning though, if they didn't need them for P&C they should have at least made them normal spaces and put the car cleaners over in the corner.
As for the poll, I don't think there is anything morally wrong with using a P&C bay, parents are capable of getting their children in and out of cars in car parks without designated bays and while they're a nice enhancement to the overall shopping experience they're hardly a necessity or indeed and entitlement.
There are plenty of childless people who would like a bit extra space to open their doors and/or would like to be nearer to the store but don't qualify for a blue badge. Will the Supermarkets have pregnant, elderly, obese, bad back, pet spaces next? No I doubt it.
I chose, 'don't agree with them' on your poll, not because I don't agree with the provision of them, I don't agree with the sense of entitlement that goes with them.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Don't agree with these spacesThen people who didn't need them wouldn't want them.
"Need"? Where does the necessity come into it? Supermarkets with car parks existed for decades before someone (quite recently) hit upon this gimmick. No-one seemed to "need" them previously.Je suis Charlie.0 -
3People that use a "they chose to have kids" argument are really just looking to justify themselves.
Who uses P&C with no kids? I notice it's usually people that think they've a nice car, mainly over 50, probably retired early (the car was what the pension payout or redundancy was spent on).
Then theres the older ones who dont quite qualify for a blue badge yet but have mobility issues. The "Oh i'd never park in a disabled bay" brigade.
Then theres those that use them just because, most of the time, they're closer to the front door.0
