I have now finished the loft. Or finished the bits that I am doing up there. Both parents have been halfway up the loft ladder to peep at the makeover and be talked through where various items are - in most cases not far from where they were previously.
I've been sure to leave the 'po in plain view under the eaves by the access hatch, to avoid any possible accusations that I have done away with it.:rotfl:
Pointed out where something else was now hanging on a joist and Mum pipped up that it could be got rid off and I was the one demurring for a change! Have some quantity of drag-outs to process for donation and the suitcase needs a clean-up and am running against the clock so dont' want to make more mess - it's more important to me to get what has been released outta here so it doesn't stagnate in the hall or the portch.
I did get Henri up to the landing to vac the cobwebs off the inside off the loft hatch and to vac the landing carpet. We're winning - I now break for tea.................

November Min's Game:
Day 3:
three dead rubber gloves
bag from supermarket bouquet
bag of 2013's bulb fibre (tipped on garden, no indoor bulbs this year)
It's amazing what gets dumped down by the back door when a person's hurrying indoors from gardening for whatever reason.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

What a busy lot we are today, early morning soup and grand loft clearing an' all.
Our hedging work is going well. Stopped for a later lunch then we'll be back at it in a short time. The weather up here is absolutely gorgeous (north of Inverness).
Major paperwork Kondo'd by Dad over the last few weeks, apparently, now burnt by me while DH started hedge. I have now caught up with clearing the hedge cuttings as he goes. A few other gardening jobs have been 'suggested' by dad, so best get at it then!
Laters,

Just popped in to let you all know that my 'minimalist birthday' (70) is going wikidly!
Cards up for the week. Presents all, but one, consumable/useful - chocolate, money, cake, and flowers. Plus a quality thermal vest and a year's subscription to Find My Past! :T
All phone calls fielded. Wrapping papers and envelopes in RC, but... erm, anyone want a matryoshka doll???This will be the third one in my life that I have [STRIKE]junked[/STRIKE] re-homed! (I have removed the 100 euros!) :rotfl:
But the best present of all - heard my SIL, has started to improve today! He had half a lung removed a month ago, went home 3 weeks later, then had another op last week, because the rib damaged in the first op, had punctured his lung.
I now need to really start motoring with my kondoing, because the money I received means that I can order my wool combs. They require an over-arm swing, so I need SPACE in the living room! Then I can start kondoing my stored (sheep's) fleeces! Way hey, wotta day! :j
Hope everyone's day is going as joyfully as mine, and you are all  with me!Needs, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j

I'll thank you all later, can't see through the tears, at the mo. xNeeds, NOT wants!

Back from mils hospital appt, went ok but can't find cause of problem and if you don't know the cause you can't fix the problem so we have been discharged. Her walking is terrible, but she doesn't help matters by slouching over her walking frame rather than standing upright and using it as an aid.
Saw someone I used to be on the Governors committee with, it was lovely to see her looking so well.
Dropped off the bags of courage I'd made for the children's oncology ward, nurse there was so pleased with them. I'll definitely use more fabric stash to make more.
Better go and do something I suppose.SPC~12 ot 124
