Have just been to Tesco's and was tempted by a burger press. For 3 seconds, laughed at myself and went to play with the Minions instead.
Does anyone own a burger press? Or did they all get Kondoed?De cluttering Konvert.Getting there

Over the weekend, I washed my smalls, and some from a forgotten laundry bin so I could play match the pairs and bin the rest.
Today 8.40am...need to be in work for 9am.
WHERE THE !!!! ARE MY !!!!ITY !!!! !!!! !!!!!!! black bras???
I know I washed them, I know I brought them in.
Suddenly, a white/grey bra destined for the bin brought me enormous joy. Despite the wrongness of wearing it under a black top.
PS. Found them tonight, forgot that I gave them a last 10 minute tumble to get them 100% dry before storing.......they were inside the quilt cover.:o0 -
Hi -I had a burger press from L**eland!
We never used it and took it to so many car boots we almost gave up. I sold it at our very last one this summer. Never made or eaten home made burgers - and should we do so in the future I'd just hand press them.
It went the way of the stainless steel egg slicer - only bought that because I used to love Mum's egg and tomato sandwiches as a child and she used a slicer. We mash eggs with a fork and add mayo now!! Is it just me or does one start to reminisce more after the big 60 birthday?!!!! Or perhaps it's 'cos we have had a night out and acouple of wines?¬¬July 16 £95/£200

I frequently use the egg slicer, either horizontally for sandwich slices, or upright for egg wedges.
I much prefer sliced egg, tomato and black pepper, maybe with a squirt of salad cream (not mayo).
It also works a treat for evenly slicing mozarella balls.0 -

Forty is where you start slipping into your anecdotage. Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
