Ooh that's a good haul.
I got a bracelet (actually pretty and will wear), some ferrero rocher (don't like, but mum had her eye on them) and 5 bottles of prosecco.
Very pleased with that - did get one toilettries set that will go for the schools next tombola, and my mum took the aforementioned necklace too :TBossymoo

Glad you both had lovely birthdays GI and Bossy.
It's mine in a couple of weeks, followed by our wedding anniversary days later. So me and Dh are combining the two occasions and going for a weekend away. Ds1 got his dad a ticket to see caro emerald later in the year for Father's Day and I've told him as I know he's also getting me a ticket ( he's coming with us with a friend - so we are doing transport,) I've told him to also call the tickets my birthday. And he's also treating us and his bro and sis to see flogging Molly so I've told him to call that our wedding anniversary pres. I have had books hinted at but I don't mind those as I can read them a couple of times then pass them to my mum who will do the same.
Not kondoed much recently but I've cleared a load more paperwork and finished that raft of shredding.SPC~12 ot 124

Many Happy Returns Bossymoo! :bdaycake:
At least you managed to kondo the chocolates!
A charity bag has just come through the door yesterday and I've already earmarked an old duvet set that is a bit faded that can go this time. It might only be one item but it is one less item in the house!A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

I do have an unjoyful peeler which is definitely leaving mind!
We are a 2 peeler and 2 masher household. OH can only use certain design of peeler and masher and can only use another...........I did consider kondoing 'my' peeler and masher but decided that would bring no joy at all :rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I kondoed my Karcher to my son in law. Not because I wanted to as its was quite useful but because he asked for it.
He now cleans my windows one a fortnight in exchange:j
I found the book very interesting if in only that you have to ask yourself why do you need 4 coats or why do you keep all the empty boxes incase you sell something?.
These are things you already know but need confirming by someone else:o

Happy birthday to birthday-celebrating Kondoers
A productive day here with a visit to the charity shop with 3 bags and a box of stuff, then onto the HWRC with a box of assorted stuff that was beyond re-use (scrap bits of metal etc).
I've also been doing more paperwork (the stuff is breeding in here I'm sure) and have a carrier bag for the recycling and a stack of shredding to do. I think that the poly pockets have also been at it, I have filed an A4 ringbinder with them. I suspect most will be on their way out but I don't know if there is some way for them to be re-used rather than just chucking them out (I don't think they can be recycled). I might take them into work.

I got rid of a large box full of used poly pockets on freecycle:) BTW how on earth did we manage without them in the 'dark ages'??:rotfl: We use boxes and boxes of them at work and DD2 has all her school work neatly filed in them.
Producing them and disposing them must be such a drain on the planets resources though:( I dont think my local council recycles them from their kerbside collection. Possibly at the central recycling centre. I will find out! Wondering now if anybody produces biodegradable ones seeing as we can no longer do without them:oBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
