    Oh, not the thread. :D

The Internet ....unless god or some one steps in.

There is something I know is possible because I've seen it, but when I try and buy the parts I just cannot find them.

My electrician says if I find the parts he'll fix and rewire the lights, but that he doesn't have a clue where to look.

I might have to send them to some kind of lighting restoration place, but when I look at those they aren't using the sort of things I want either........:o

Three abortive hours trying to find answers for these bloody lights .....grrrrrr

I have this problem too with things I'm choosing for the house. Is there anything you could do as a temporary fix? Or anything we can do to help with your search?

Just in case anyone has a solution for me - I'm looking for old delft tiles to go with the one chipped and cracked one I have. I need another 10-12 ideally, but at least 4. And at a sensible price. They're to go above the cloakroom basin.

Well that's a relief I thought we had failed you lol
I know how you feel I got a lovely gothic style pendant for my bedroom
It was a result of my bro skip diving years ago.
It was gorgeous alas the fittings were italan origin.
We are more international now with fittings but back then it was impossible to safely fi it no leccy man would touch it

I can only suggest reclamation yards people used to throw them out regular
But now they are sought after.
If you wait until peeps get in from work on here you might get a decent idea or two

Jinny, never. ;). The method might have limitations for me, but the power of old stylers and sorting one's life out? Infinite. ;)

    Will copy in more links

    Candle tubes not showing bulbs

    Or better proportioned at least

And if you see the bulbs then I want them to look like they are making an effort ;)

These are led flame bulbs. I think they look ok.http://i01.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/1916525111_1/15-lights-font-b-Italian-b-font-antique-gold-font-b-candle-b-font-chandelier-led.jpg

Lost my photobucket account or I'd post a pic... Tile isn't quite square - 13cm across x 5" high!

It's almost identical to the one on the left in this image, just with a different group of buildings in the centre. And more chips

I did thank the OP in a previous post, but can I also thank all the other posters - you have inspired me to actually get off my backside & clear out, not only unwanted items from my wardrobe, but all the rubbish & junk that's been lying about for years in cupboards!

I've kondo'd my tea-towels, rolled my towels & flannels, and sorted the bedlinen, getting rid of sheets that I hated but because they cost so much hadn't wanted to get rid of them before now - why I don't know as I wouldn't put them on my bed! Stupid, isn't it? Anyway, they've gone to the charity shop and hopefully someone will love them.

Still got a long way to go but at least I've made a huge start - 2015 will be my year of clearing out for good! :)

**oh yes, when I went through the cutlery tray I found 5 wooden spoons, 5 tablespoons & 3 sets of measuring spoons. Do I need that many? No, so have kept just 1 of each! Also found 2 melon ballers, 1 butter curler, 1 snazzy cucumber-into-frilly-spirals peeler, 3 zesters & forgotten how many bottle openers - all, yes all, of those have passed on to other people or the charity shop. Don't have dinner parties so don't need the fancy accoutrements ;) **

    Oh, really pretty!

    I suppose you've checked ebay?

An option might be to get an alternative blue and white tile to be 'honest' about which the replacements are?

Not much on ebay in that style. And the estimate on those ones was $50-$5000 back in 2007. Maybe I should sell it? I guess I should check - I know its damaged, but if it turns out to be worth enough to pay a significant chunk of the new bathroom then I probably don't want to put it on the wall!
