  • I have finally got to the end of this thread :j you are all an inspiration

Whilst doing that, I have done a number of drawers in my bedroom, but am struggling with putting all my t shirt type tops out of my wardrobe into the new space for them. Once neatly folded how do you differentiate between long sleeved, short sleeved, round neck and v neck ?
I have 5 white tops and wonder how I will know which one to pull out

I have sorted mine in rows front to back according to sleeve length, my drawer fits 2 rows of vests, 2 rows of short sleeved tops and 1 row of long sleeve tops. (I generally wear cardi or zip up hoody with vest/tshirt in winter), if there is a slight distinguishing feature (ie I have quite a few black vest tops) I fold with some of that feature showing on the fold.
  • OMG - my estate agent just knocked on the door with an expected viewing! Luckily my place was more or less tidy. Left them on the doorstep for a few minutes whist I rushed around like a mad thing, though!

6 bin bags went this morning and 3 boxes of recycling - 1 of which was stuffed with shredded paper
Pity I don't know anyone with a small furry animal, they might have liked it for bedding.
Loving my nice clean tidy kitchen :T Have re-purposed a stainless steel utensil holder; drilled drainage holes in the bottom and now using it to drain cutlery when washing up - much nicer than the tea-stained plastic one I had :o
I need to start on komono - household equipment - which means tackling the back room :( it's full of junk including the cats' litter trays and a clothes airer and associated dehumidifier. Hmm. I wonder if I can fashion a little wooden 'house' to put the litter trays in?

Just updating on my clothes kondo-ing today. Have now done all the decision making. Four more bags for charity and three for the clothes bank. Now have a mountain of stuff to put away and need to think about where it will go.

I know MK wants us to put everything in drawers but it seems a waste of hanging space not to use all of the wardrobe. How has everyone else organised their clothes post-kondoing and what are you doing about your wardrobe space???

:o I also have to own up to a long gap mid-kondo where I decided to try and put a Kondo playlist together on spotify. Any suggestions for songs I could add that extol our MK values and will motivate me as I work through everything???

Looks lovely islandmaid. I love the wall colour.

I'm in limbo this week. I moved a medium box of komono from the wardrobe shelf in to the second bedroom at the weekend to deal with when I'm in the right frame of mind. For a relatively small box there's a right mix of categories in it and it just blew my mind as some of it is sentimental and there's a bag of photo's too.

My bedroom is very nearly done though - I'm waiting for the shelf in the wardrobe to tell me what I should put up there now. Certainly not boxes with stuff hidden inside!

Love this woman's idea of using ring binders for current year papers
Much easier to find than scrambling through box files.
Not sure how you would store birth certificates ect though
    As they aren't current year
