All far too sensible suggestions. What you really want is this:
321bhp
0-60 6.6s
162mph
£27k
'Interesting' depreciation...

I am no petrol head but the Octavia vRS has a 100 less horses but it's 0-62mph is only 0.2 seconds less than the Vauxhall. Not exactly sure how that all works out (more weight, bigger car etc...).
I've only driven an Insignia diesel and it was a horrible car, plasticy and not nice to drive. I would assume the VXR model is a big step up from that but I would be looking at a new Skoda or a second hand Merc or Audi personally."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
I like this..
400bhp and quite plain to look at.
I'd be tempted to rebadge it as a 520d...

Far too sensible
Why not go for the full size version.
670bhp
0-60 under 4.5s
6.2l V8
£26,000

VXR has the same dashboard as my lowly 160 diesel insignia. (all bar a different steering wheel, gearknob and front seats)Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....0 -
