Ok I have worked out a very strict budget for January which involves spending less on food than I do on fuel. Food is £150 for the month and fuel is £180. I have no idea if this is do-able but I will try my hardest and ask Mam to help a bit too. IF I manage it and IF we have no bigger bills in other than those expected then I will be back to normal - meaning I will have money to overpay too. Now given that Job 2 isn't making anything atm, it's not going to be a massive overpayment, but at least I will be able to make something.Debt - CCV £3792

Mums are fab
Did you get anything through for tonight? It still seems so quiet, but I've had a bit more through for tomorrow than normal, so fingers crossed this is the start of it picking up.

Happy Friday everyone
I'm back to normal today. The fact that it's Friday is probably helping PLUS YES CAZ, WAHOO I GOT A FILE IN. Do you think anyone's ever so happy to work normally lol. I also emailed HQ and asked for preference on any weekend workshy bairns get nowt they say. I had a reply saying they will try to sort me out with something which is perfect, esp if a long file as DH is out tomorrow night and it might get my invoice up to what it should be by now.
Mum's are great aren't they. She dropped some food off too, save me topping up during the week. So helpful.
Tonight I will write next week's shopping list (will collect tomorrow) and it needs to be low cost. Then I will sort out lunch for tomorrow and give the house a blast plus put some washing on. These are all the things that I struggled with last weekend so going to get on top tonight (oh-er!).
Right, off to check my accounts.Debt - CCV £3792

One problem sorts itself and another presents itself. So my small CC which was planned as the last to go has somehow slipped the net over Xmas meaning I have had my 0% taken off me for that. Concentrating too much on the big fish! So after kicking myself up the butt I have started another plan of action.
I will transfer it to the big CC and continue with my plan of getting rid of the big CC (and therefore all CC balances now) by end Dec 2015. Problem is I reduced the bl00dy limit on it and there's not enough space yet to pull the full amount through. So I will have to be patient, pay the £50 a month interest and then move it over in February or March as soon as there's enough space. How annoying but ok, it's happening. Then I will close out the small CC obviously.Debt - CCV £3792

Have you spoken to the CC company that removed the 0%? If not it might be worth calling them.
We made the same mistake in the past, rang to explain and apologise, and they reinstated the 0% for us.Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061

I will give it a go hun, thanks.
I've done a draft for next week's food. Looks something like this:
Sausage casserole with aldi 6 veg (plus extra meat for DH from freezer)
Beef one pot with Aldi 6 veg (got beef already)
Freezer !!!! night or jacket potato with filling - got already.
Mince dish - either mince/rice stir fry, lasagne, cottage pie or spag bol. (already have)
Slow cooker chicken with rice or pasta and whatever veg is left,or none and just a sauce, or dry! (already have)
Lunches will be HM soup/quiche/salad/left overs.
Breakfast is cereal/toast/waffles/porridge - already have.
With milk and fruit, that should see us until Friday's pay day and I hope for it to come under £25. As the super 6 is to our taste, we should be ok! Finger's crossedExciting too!
