So sorry to hear your news Mum2one, hope Granded Hoodie is improving now.
It kind of puts things in perspective, being healthy and happy are top of the list whilst material things are........just things.

Hi all
Mum2one, it must be a stressful time for you all with this latest news, I really hope you take care of yourself too as it can be very easy to forget about ourselves whilst supporting everyone else.
I hope the knitting will help calm you down or do you do it tighter if you get tense?
I put all my Christmas prep on hold a while back as busy with other things and now have DS2 arriving tomorrow so it will have to wait. Last Friday I was worried about DS1 who was going to France earlier in the week I had a troubling night trying to get hold of ex then DS himself. Luckily he had left France midweek and gone elsewhere abroad.
Something I wished he hadn't told me was that he'd been staying in the area that was affected. Because then I kept getting those 'what if' thoughts.
So I think it was either all that worry or the antibiotics I was given for problem that gave me very bad side effects so I had to give them up but it stopped me from getting on with prep.0 -
Hey, very quiet... where is everyone?
Hope things are OK ....Mum2one....?
Busy sewing doggy duvets and hoping to get a mention in a couple of local papers to move duvets out of my house!! oh, and earn more for the charity. Only one sold last week compared to 5 and 6 in previous weeks
Signed up for annual membership of local leisure centre- it has a £50 off if you enrol from Dec 1st.So now I'm swimming 5 days, 3 pilates classes and a movement class!! Got to get my money's worth (which means I am getting a lot of exercise too)
Yesterday went into Grimsby to take some Bon Marche stuff back and try to get another huge (cheap) plastic dog bed from Home Bargains- er no, no longer stock them.
However got the bargain of the day, a huge Constance Spry cook book in presentation box was £40, usually £8 for £2!!A perfect present for a cookery keen friend. That was at The Works- seems to be in store but not online.
I hope everyone is well and not getting too frazzledBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Personally I think the challenge is for you to stay calm and take stock... sadly you have other things on your mind.........
I'm sure everyone here sends their best wishes and hopes that Grandad's problems will be identified and then solved
take care there
