  • As my BT contract is coming to an end I am also undecided who to go with for fib re, sky or plusnet. What are the pros and cons between the two?

  • I'll copy and paste the test results when I get home from work

a few people in my area have told me sky does not work very well and when I do the speed test it shows speeds on my street as 0.76-2.6 so maybe I should still with talktalk as a provider

That depends on your exchange which you don't mention.

However, there is another service on your phone line (e.g. ADSL, LLU, DACS, etc) that would prevent you from ordering a new ADSL connection.
The following services are available in your location:

    BT Wholesale ADSL
    BT Wholesale ADSL Max
    BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)
    BT FTTC
    AOL LLU
    TalkTalk (CPW) LLU

So are you ordering Fibre or not?

Did it give you any speed estimate for 21CN?
  • I already have fibre with BT so yes it would be fibre I would be having. Didn't see speed estimate, I will look again

Speed estimate for 21CN wouldn't be applicable if you're going with Fibre.
  • I just did a BT broadband check and it says
WBC ADSL 2+ up to 2.5 for up
    Max up to 2
Down is 1 to 4 and 1 to 3.5 for max

That won't matter if you're going to get Fibre.

What does Sky & PlusNet offer for Fibre? Compare the prices on both.

Topcashback is offering up to £105 for PlusNet Fibre, as is Sky.
