Hi, unwittingly I purchased the above along with Aloe Colon Cleanse at the end of November; the advert said all you had to pay was the postage for a month's supply. There was no mention that you had 14 days to cancel etc. I would say I have not touched them, they are still unopened. When I checked my bank account yesterday I discovered that £79.95 had been debited out of my account twice!! When I went onto the internet I discovered that this has happened to lots of people. I paid by debit card so I am assuming that I will not get my money back. I phoned a number but all I got was 'this number is not being recognised'. What am I going to do now? Is there any way I can stop other payments coming out of my account or reclaim my monies back?? Can someone give me some advice/help please?? I cannot afford this type of fraud, because that is what it is. Please please help.
See post 21 below - hope this helps
  • Hi everyone, I too have had the same issue with these and I have been waiting since may 2014 when they received my rebate form. I rang on so many occasions and been told it’ll be the end of the month.. Or someone would answer and put the phone down.. Or didn’t connect… So many lies for 8 months!! I reported them through the Action Fraud website, to which I received a crime reference number, I also queried this with consumer rights but as they are in America she couldn’t really help me but gave me a reference number anyway. So I tried once more to ring them and was told to write to the head office.. And a letter I did write!!! I wrote down these reference numbers and told them this was just the beginning and if they did not refund I would go to a solicitor, go directly to the police etc… And plenty more of course.. I scanned this on an app so I had a copy and sent it around 2-4 weeks ago and was shocked yesterday morning to find a cheque in my post, in dollars, and apparently it can take up to 6 weeks to process so we shall see. Here is the address:
    Raspberry Ketone Fresh
    9715 Estate Thomas
    PMB #181
    St. Thomas, USVI 00802
    United States of America
Good luck.. Share the address as much as you can, too many people being scammed! Thanks
    Thanks

I got it all the money back on chargeback against the vendors merchant account. If was visa card i think it can be either a debit or credit card you paid with . What i found and proved is that they have multiple checkout pages some with terms and conditions indicating an agreement to autoship and some which dont. You may after you purchased go back to the main site and "think" you missed the terms and conditions saying its autoship but i can assure you that they definitely have pages with NO autoship ot terms even disguised in guarantee text

So put in writing to your back or credit card you dispute the card not present transactions as you did not authorise and agree to any thing on the checkout page you purchased from . Your bank will then ident against the vendors merchant account and the vendor has a company whose job it is to defend the vendor . However fortunately they are useless, albeit persistant and they send screenshots of the wrong website with the wrong ammounts and which show terms and conditions on. So when you get that write back again and tell the back thats not the page you purchased from as the one you purchased from had no terms at all . Visa who it will eventually get escalated to will know the criminals are revolviong checkout pages as i showed them a series some with terms and some with none

It will help if you get a letter from tarding standards saying its in their opinion a scam (although i didnt as i had enough proof as i took screenshots of the fake websiets and non visa compliant checkout pages). It woudl look better if you also reported to action fraud as you cna say its gota crime reference number as its going to be harder for the vendor to defend

You have to write the first letter to your debot or credit card privider within 120 days and demand a chargeback as otherwise you may miss the opportunity

Hi Kelly do you think you can post this screenshot where there in no terms and conditions as I certainly don't remember seeing a page with terms and conditions. This will save me hunting as I have just found I have been scammed for 2 payments of £92:78 and I am furious. Thanks if you could do that.

I just found out how to post links on this site so can put the url in easier way to see

Nice exampl e of non visa compliant checkout page . Notice the Womens health logo in the top which prives the creator of the website was same person who ran the fake magazine to go with his facebook adverts! Also if you purchased from this page you get a special offer to buy more products also with no terms displayed on the page

    https://ketoneslimxt.com/offer10/order.php?prospectId=1123775&shipcountry=IE&cid=463&AFID=&AFFID=4001&SID=&TID=&AID=&click_id=&C1=137&C2=3802&C3=

the fake womens health magazine with fake endorsements is

    http://inwomenshealthmag.com/denise/?t202id=129&c1=3802&t202kw

In case the links dont work i put on flikr here

    https://www.flickr.com/photos/130727347@N07/16451639440/

    and here

    https://www.flickr.com/photos/130727347@N07/16613090036/

basically if yu can show the way these criminals have multiple checkouts and if you purchased from this company and got auto payments stollen these screenshots can prove that you never signed up for multiple payments and additionally the creators of the website are fraudsters because of the fake news magazine

One other thing i forgot to mention is they use a company to try to feebly defend them taking money who will send to the bank a copy of some other website which is visa compliant . With these screenshots you can tell them the checkout you purchased from did not and insist that they are revolving the checkout pages between visa compliant pages and non compliant pages .

For example if you look at the https://ketoneslimxt.com/

You will see it has tick box indicating you accept terms and conditions and so they show that page to bank and say its compliant . Actaully the letter they write is pathetic and says "customer has been enjoying the use of the product and the webpage is visa compliant ete " . We wrote back to back in answer to say "we were not enjoying the product as it was returned and on the contrary the criminals were enjoying our money they had stollen, and the page we purchased from was not visa compliant and did not display terms as it did on the site they shwoe dthe bank"

With the pages i show here yu have total proof of how they carry out the fraud and it also explains why many of yu say you never noticed the terns which are in varying degrees of disguise on multiple sites

Frankly with this evidence and determination its hard to loose if it was from this site you purchased as you have the proof they are revolving checkoutpages

hope this helps some of you as the best way i

My wife got scammed by these muppets last month. First thing I realised was that two amounts - One for £92.78 to Ketone Trim and other £89.74 to Cleansprem left the bank. Any way I managed to get the money back and I'm with Halifax but boy did the bank out up a fight.

These scammers set up a "Continous Payment Authority" on the card so the first thing was to get that removed pronto. I spoke to my wife and she was absolutely adamant that she did not see a tick box to agree to anything. Just simply ordered a sample.

Halifax tried to explain that they are aware of this company and that the diet pills were £3.95 for a trial and then if they are not sent back within 14 days then you have to pay for them. They cliamed that the two amounts taken from the bank were the payments my wife had agreed to on Ketones webpage. They refused my chargeback request.

After escalating it through three line managers at Halifax I basically told them that we had not agreed to buy further products and the ones my wife did buy were simply a sample on a single transaction. Halifax then tried to repeat what they had previously told me and I rebutted it straight away.

Halifax even pointed me to Ketones webpage and showed me a tick box which they claim my wife ticked. I told them straight that at no point did she tick a box and pointing me to some terms and conditions on a webpage that my wife clearly had not visited (the one she went on had no tickbox) was tantamount to being a party to fraud by my bank.

After an hour on the phone - Halifax were trying to explain that although it's unscrupulous the company had done nothing wrong. As a continuous payment authority was agreed at the point of sale. Again refused chargeback.

I had to fight tooth and nail for them to understand that we were not contracted to anything as my wife had not ticked a box in the first place. Anyway to cut to the chase they said that because a continuous payment authority had been set up they cannot escalate it with visa chargeback scheme as visa won't refund. They did cancel the payment authority for future payments.

I then asked them what would happen if I went into Asda, bought a loaf of bread and without my knowledge, Asda kept my card details and sold me 38 Cod Fillets without my permission or a signed contract. They operative was stunned, silence............. I told her to forget about the continuous payment authority route under the chargeback scheme as it's clearly a dead duck. Some one has stolen money from my card and I didn't care about visa, Halifax, Ketone or Asda for that matter, I just wanted my cash back and told them that they were the ones who were going to give it to me because if they didn't I'd ring them every single day and stay on the line for as long as it takes until they listened. They finally told me "we don't normally do this but we are going to refund and write to Ketone". I told them that they could write to whoever they liked but if they debit that money back out of my bank I will stand with a placard outside my local branch for as long as it takes.

One thing I would advise is that Halifax requested that they call me back on four seperate occasions during the conversation. You should refuse to get off the phone and tell them that you have all day to discuss this. Escalate it as far as you can up the chain of command as it took three operatives until they finally cracked. That made me think that Halifax have a policy of not refunding until the call gets to a certain point in their heirarchy. Good because if you bank with Halifax you'll have to fight really, really hard to get it back like I did.

  • Why oh why did I do it! First time in my life I've fallen for a scam! Late night listening to friends with wine is not a good combination for reading every word of very very confusing small print on a trial offer site determined to make it as difficult as possible for you to do so! Just a word of warning to others who suddenly spot a charge of over £90 on their credit cards for a few tablets in a bottle - when you get to the stage of finally obtaining a RAM no. from the company to return them you then have to obtain PROOF OF POSTAGE BUT THEN YOU HAVE TO RING THEM BACK UP AND GIVE THEM THAT PROOF BEFORE THEY WILL CONSIDER CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT! Dont think that having finally gotten a RAM number and posted them back that that is sufficent because you have already told them to cancel the account - it's not! Ring back with proof of postage and keep ringing until they do send out a confirmation email as proof! Good Luck!

Halifax don't have a policy of not refunding until it gets to "a certain point in their heirarchy", they have a policy, like most banks, of refunding customers who just won't accept what they're saying. It's sometimes easier to refund someone to get rid of them.
