Beware scam re Raspberry Ketones slimming pills

I fell for this scam. I have just been on the phone to Ketone Slim XT. I did manage to get a partial refund, £82.78, from the £92.78, which they took out of my account. They said that the £10 shortfall was for admin and was Company Policy. I have been back on their site and can see no mention of this, nor, that I had fourteen days free trial and that on day fifteen they would take £92.78. Please be aware of this scam. Im going to take it to Watchdog. If only to warn other people of this dirty tricks company.0

they got me too!! They added £1.99 insurance to my bill without my permission, so I smelt a rat & called them within 2 mins of ordering the stuff on the net.
They refused to cancel my order, even though it had not been dispatched.
I then saw all of the notes on MSE & called them 3 time to cancel - they said I couldn't till after 14 days. By which time I am expecting to have started a subscription for something I don't really want. How did I get caught with this one. I thought I was smart.
Presumably the American gun laws are maintained for consumers to track down the git that runs this scam!0 -
Just happened upon this thread - can I just mention that recently a woman died after taking these pills. She was only 24 years old and had a heart attack because each pill contained two-and-a-half times as much caffeine as a can of Red Bull.
Not only could you lose your money but you could lose your life!

In fairness, that article does clearly say that the poor lady took an overdose of these pills.fussypensioner wrote: »Just happened upon this thread - can I just mention that recently a woman died after taking these pills. Taking an overdose of paracetamol can have equally devastating consequences.0 -

Taking an overdose of paracetamol can have equally devastating consequences.
I take your point, but people know that taking too many paracetamol would be fatal. However these slimming pills are marketed as a natural fruit extract to help with weight loss and people are led to believe they are a natural product to help with weight loss. Its a sad lesson.Holding back the years...0
