Would you take a baby abroad?

As a family we took my 10 month old Grandaughter to Tunisia last October.
No probelms whatsoever. In fact she was more chilled out and content there than she is at home.0 -
yes - travelling with babies is far easier than with toddlers :rotfl:.
I went abroad for months at a time wth my daughter, starting when she was 4 months old.0 -
Took 4 week old daughter to Turkey and then a month later to Tenerife. Did various others over the next 18 months too. Much easier when they are smaller.0

How old was your child when you took them abroad and where did you go?
Thanks
I think this question is too vague for answers to be of any use.
There's a difference between taking a 9 month old baby to Majorca and a 3 week old baby to Angola.

I'd consider going after some vaccinations have been done and baby's immune system has developed a bit.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

It depends on where the abroad is and what you will be doing. Personally I wouldn't and didn't take young children (under 5's) on a typical Summer beach holiday. I didn't want to have to overly worry about watching them all the time and spending a lot of time in the shade etc. Maybe that's selfish but if I am spending a lot of hard saved cash then I want my money's worth.0

On the flip side to that, at 6 to 7 months old they dont move very much and are much easier than a toddler0
