Would you take a baby abroad?

Would you take a baby abroad? If so, whats the youngest age you would take them?

How old was your child when you took them abroad and where did you go?
Thanks

Define abroad. Ferry day trip to France? Backpacking around India?

We took our 7 month old to Egypt for a couple of weeks. Had a whale of a time as the staff adored her n wanted to spend time with her! She's pretty well travelled now, and is off (age 10) to explore the Pantanal in August with her Nana!

I think it depends on your attitude, if you're relaxed about it fine, but if it bothers you then wait, after all the UK is a lovely country to explore!

I know someone that took her 6 week old to Austrailia to stay with her family for a couple of months. I know others that went to the Canary Islands at 5 and 7 months and just had to deal with sterlising bottles, finding out if they could buy the milk powder there and keeping them out of the direct sun. They seemed to have fun.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

we once met a couple on a rainforest tour in the Gambia with a tiny babe-in-arms just a few months old. No problem. Just remind yourselves that wherever you go in the world, there are other people living there, having babies, all quite normal.

It tickles me how people seem to forget this.

There are millions of babies "abroad".

Only thing I would say is that I waited until DD had had her 16 week jabs before flying, just in case.

Taken both mine abroad on a number of occasions when they were little.

You will know if you need anything special. Much easier if you're feeding you self when below one as no need for messing with sterilisation.

If your nervous try a holiday rental as many have all the kit included from when they've had children
