    Welcome to all the newbies.

Nothing to report here except I started temping again and I don't think it's possible for me as I keep waking up at about 4am which means that I don't have the solid sleep time before I temp at 6am. I don't want to record anything earlier than that. They are very low so far too, seems like a totally pointless exercise. Will do it but not take too seriously.

OMG Tinks, I have came on to post this very thing. I have a holiday at exact same time and AF is due. I've taken Northisterone before and it worked brilliantly and didn't mess up my cycle that I can remember but I wasn't TTC. I have booked a GP appt for this discussion for the week after my next AF due date (with any luck I will have a BFP and won't need it).

The other option is just not to try for the month of May but I actually don't think I want to do that for the sake of a dip in the pool (I don't use tampons).

I'm not keen on skipping a month either, but I really could do without AF on our wedding day! Will be interesting to hear what your GP says about it. I'm holding off booking an appt for a few weeks. I've never had this problem before as I always just doubled up my pills if I was due on!

Hey all, sorry I've been quiet recently, been feeling really run down & a bit emotional about everything, starting to feel a bit more positive now. CD13 & expecting ov over the next few days. Selina & Manc after losing a few pounds at the start of the year my weight is piling on again now. I know I need to do something about it, but I just don't seem to have the frame of mind to get started

Tinks I know exactly what you mean, without you ladies on here I think I'd be going mad. I've been thinking about confiding in a friend, but I keep holding back, there's such a stigma around it I wouldn't have an idea where to begin :(

Hello to the newbies, hope your stay here is a short one!!!

Hi all. So I'm calling 1DPO today. Temp hasn't gone up much but mine are pretty low (<36) so over 36 is normally an indication and I'm 36.07 today. Got a -ve opk last night and this morning too.

So I've ov'd late again this month - a week later than last month. Managed lots of Bding though so fingers crossed...time for good old TWW!!

Good luck cats, we must be due a load of BFPs very soon!

CD8 here and the BDing has commenced, although not putting the pressure on for any. It's so so nice to not be tracking anything, I'm remembering what life used to be like before the madness took over.

    Sending dust to all x

    Hi all.

So whilst I originally was feeling quite calm and relaxed in this 2ww ( as know we have pretty much zero chance!) I now find myself analysing everything to see if I think it's pregnancy symptoms. Gahhh will be glad when Af shows ( due based on past Lp lengths this weekend) to stop me being a lunatic lol.

Baby dust to all. Really hope we see some bfp soon!

As usual SS has begun - light crampy tummy started this evening along with feeling nausea's. Slightly sore nipples and bloated. Trying to talk myself in to not getting excited.
Picked up a couple of the superdrug tests ready for next week as I have heard they are more sensitive.
selina, manc, angel - I too need to lose a couple of pounds, not much over good BMI but every little helps, I just keep wanting sweet things and can't give myself the jump to eat really well again, maybe the weather?!
    Baby dust all round x
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

That's what I used to do. I think judging by what I've read online, you need to take Northisterone 3 days before AF is due which is obviously difficult if TTC as you have to make sure you are NOT pregnant. This clearly points towards a risk if an early test doesn't show up a BFP. Some of us also have varied cycles and so pinpointing the 3 day window is not going to be easy. I just wonder whether it will work if taken on the day of the bleed but it sounds like a pain in the backside.

The online advice says it can be taken up to 20 days. I remember taking it over a 3 week period whilst I was in Australia on a holiday and it worked. I don't ever remember by cycles being affected afterwards either but it was 5 years ago.

I think it might be a pros vs cons of taking it.

If I were you, getting married would be a vote for taking it, you can then have a stress free time pre-wedding and enjoy yourself without worrying about TTC or AF. You can then stop the medication as soon as wedding over and are likely to have a bleed then. You might then get a well timed 'honeymoon' baby.

Those who are talking about weight loss - are you like me thinking that you are hoping to be pregnant soon so what's the point? (Naughty really and I know it's the totally wrong way to think)
  • Still no AF :( and did a test secretly getting my hopes up. BFN. So now I'm double disappointed and worrying about my cycle even though rational me knew it was unlikely and still early days. Perhaps a blessing in disguise as we maybe getting our loft done in November due to crazy local waiting lists.
