Congrats Cynthia, that's great news!

Well, I got a big fat empty circle on the opk today, after having had flashing smileys since Monday. Does that mean I haven't ovulated? Or am I 1DPO now? I don't know. In any case it doesn't look good. Starting to become more and more convinced that this just isn't going to happen.

I'm still not sure about the opks either Jojo. It can be anywhere from 12-36 hours after the first positive, but then it also depends on whether the surge is caught at the end or the beginning. So confusing isn't it?

Rachylou I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I actually googled ideas. The key is to have a mixture of explicit ones and ones that aren't, and I only sent a few spread out over the course of the day so it didn't become boring, and so it kept his interest. You could also do it by leaving notes in unexpected places (eg. his coat pocket or packed lunch), though this is more risky as you don't know where he'll open them, and someone may see them. My favourite line was: Stop thinking about me! It's hard isn't it?

Well we didn't manage to dtd last night as I had a splitting headache (think this may be an ovulation symptom for me as I seem to remember having this last month too), and DH was tired. We will try again today as a last chance catch the egg this month in case I ovulated yesterday, as I'm really not sure where I am with that to be honest. This will have been every other day anyway, so at least we've given it our best chance.

We managed to DTD last night, I felt better and OH couldn't resist my charms . Feeling a bit down today though, I have good and bad days and just have to ride the storm I guess.

JoJo - I think the majority of us on here have got the right idea in just trying to DTD every other day and hoping for the best, sometimes the OPKs, temping and checking symptoms is just driving us crazy and stress is the last thing we need.

I am still going to do the above though as I need to have some kind of definition on what I'm doing as I have no clue whether I have ovulated at all since January. Seeing doctor in May to get their thoughts and wanted some kind of visual aid to show what we've done so far

Hey everyone. Finally got a static smiley on my CB digi today after 8 days of flashing which is a record! Cheapie OPK backs up the surge as well so just waiting on temps now to confirm.

Have been BD-ing every other day including this morning, might try it later as well to up our chances lol.

Jojo so sorry to hear about the empty circle - to be honest that does sound like either you didn't ov or, more likely, you just missed your surge. Presumably you're just doing once a day with FMU?

Just wading in to say Hi. Been lurking for a while and thought I would join in...

Back story. TTC for #2, DD is 6. Came off pill approx 10th March, had withdrawal bleed w/c 14th March. Not gone back on pill since. Not scrutinising things too much and not preventing things otherwise. Tracking symptoms via Ovia app but as this is first cycle, all up in the air and not sure if caught already...

Had lots of symptoms that could indicate I am PG but trying not to read into it as I do understand/accept that cycle will be to !!!! with newly coming off the pill. That said, I have had cramps, nausea (no vomiting), fatigue - yawning loads, just wanting to kick back on the couch, aversion to taste of foods/drink, strong sense of smell, sore nipples, crazy vivid dreams, bloated, gassy, etc. Sounds crazy, but even gone off wine!

Waiting for at least another week before I do a test, unless AF comes before then. Sounds strange but as much as I am getting pre-AF symptoms, I don't have the normal cranky/irritable feeling I usually have, and I actually feel quite happy/upbeat/content. Pretty hopeful, but again, trying not to get hopes up.

No the CB digital should only be once a day. Hmmm wish I had some answers! Did CM or temp indicate ov? Fingers crossed you just missed it this month, try not to worry.

Temp still low today so I expect today is ov day. Managed to BD twice yesterday so fingers crossed..
