Hello everyone
Think I'm on CD76 could be more, not tracking at the moment, feel like carp, just got over a cold and now hubby has it so not in the mood for BD'ing at the moment!! haha
In regards to the app's I tried FF and didn't get on with it, Glow is good and I did like it however I do think Ovia is the best and most accuratealthough at the moment it is just ???? with me!! haha
FX for everyone, I'm just keeping my FX that AF comes along (never thought I would ever say that!!)
xxRead my diaryHere0 -
Chocolate hope AF comes soon (I feel so strange saying that lol).
Opk getting steadily darker, but still not as dark as control line. Not sure if I should do another one later this evening, or just wait until tomorrow - anyone know how quickly lh surge might occur?0 -
Hey Rachylou, it does sound like migraine, I've had them one and off for most of my life, the only thing that works for me is cocodamol, no idea what I'm going to do if I get one when I'm pregnant
I do find though that alcohol is one of my triggers, so cutting back has been quite helpful in that respect. But I think from what everyone's said that there's probably no need to be really strict about it until getting a BFP!
Though that's looking pretty unlikely given that my AF arrived today. Ah well.0 -
Angel - thank you
haha it does seem strange wishing for AF!! lol
with the OPK's I heard that you should do them a couple of times a day apparently you get a better reading in the evening (although not sure how accurate that is haha)
Jojo - same here with the migrainesmy triggers are stress and not eating/drinking enough so best to keep yourself hydrated and make sure you eat little and often to avoid them.
FX everyone and baby dust xxRead my diaryHere0 -
Hope everyone had a nice valentines day?
I use Fertility Friend for tracking my temp and Ovia for everything else, to me Ovia is just easier to see everything and i like the little tips it gives you each day. It can alter your fertile window though depending what you put in it, so i wouldn't just count on that alone.
CD9 for me, if i go by last cycle im due to ov at the weekend, which is bad timing as we go away with family this weekend! So thinking we're just going to DTD as much as we can before the weekend and hope thats enough!TTC since September 20150 -

Some people test twice a day when expecting to ovulate.
Mine yesterday was slightly fainter to start with, then after about 5 minutes it was definitely a lot darker and stronger. They say to leave it up to 10 minutes to get a definite result. When I tested it later in the day it was negative! (second line still showed, but fainter than control).
It's best not to do the test in the morning, so perhaps around lunchtime and then in the evening?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

I was always told to do OPKs in the afternoon/evening so I always do mine when I get in from work. I have some sort of faint line pretty much all month but when I get a +ve it is clearly a positive within a matter of seconds. They are temperamental though!!
CD11 Here - am just plodding along as it's aaaages til ov for me. I have loads of cheapie OPKs though so may start testing around CD18 just in case it happens early for some crazy reason.Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
CD18 here and no surge yet (unless I've missed it), only using CB digi's once a day as agreed with my acupuncturist (haha words I thought I'd never say). Lots of BDing over Valentine's weekend so am in with a chance - assuming my cycle is normal this time, it was a little short after the mc. 2nd session of acu tomorrow!
Good luck all let's get some more BFPs on the board this week! xxMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
CD13 - ovulation period from today according to internet (sorry I don't do anything other than check dates at the moment as we are so early into TTC that I want to make it as less stressful and 'technical' as possible). I know it's not totally accurate though so don't worry, we are BDing as much as posible
Feel hungover again (?migraine) - no alcohol, fleeting headaches, bit of nausea, general unwellness
Sore breasts, mainly when I woke up
I just don't know my own body any more...0 -
Rachy I get hormonal migraines, apparently they're quite common in woman of child-bearing age with the hormone fluctuations in our cycles. After coming off the pill I got them every cycle, just after AF finished, thankfully they were quite mild ones, not too pleasant none the less.
Did another opk, & the line was much much fainter than this time yesterday. I'm currently cd16 & cycles tend to be 25-27 days, so I'm guessing it's one of 3 scenarios: 1. I oved earlier that I thought & have missed it; 2. I haven't oved at all this cycle; or 3. I ov late & have a short lp. Based on other symptoms, I don't think it's 1. I have an underactive thyroid, and apparently 2 & 3 are quite common with this. So now I'm wondering if I should go to GP. I did discuss with GP before we started ttc, but she just said I may need additional thyroxine when I do conceive, & to make appointment as soon as I get bfp. Had routine blood test done end Dec & apparently results were "normal" although I stupidly didn't ask what t4 & tsh levels were. In the past my tsh levels have been high even though t4 has been within normal range. Do you think I'm jumping the gun going to GP now, should I maybe temp for a cycle or 2 first?0
