So the spotting I tend to get before AF has arrived - and 99% certain it isn't implantation as it's continued and seems more fresh (sorry TMI). So not quite an official update but CD1 will prob be tomorrow.

I always think how strong all the posts on here seem, but I'm afraid today mine really isn't - I'm absolutely devastated. We were on hol this cycle and BD'd literally every day, plus being super happy, loved up and relaxed. Actually enjoyed it all again. So now I feel like if that doesn't work then what hope do we have.

We're healthy people, both normal weight, semi-active, good diet, no other health issues. We've been together 7 years, married 2.5, and are as happy as ever. What are we doing wrong? :( If I'd got pregnant month 1 or 2 like so many people I know I'd be over half way by now, and if my cycles were shorter we'd have had 6 attempts rather than 5. It's just not fair!

I'm sorry for such an emotional post but sometimes I get fed up of trying to be strong and just want to be so angry at the world. Today is definitely one of those days.

Hugs and baby dust to all of you, hearing your stories is pretty much what's keeping me going at the moment as we head into month 7, cycle 6. xx

Cats, we all get emotional don't worry. It is such a hard journey and those feelings you get when AF arrives are the worst. It isn't helped when people constantly say "you're next" or "when are you having a baby?" as though it is so simple! Well, for some it is. My absolute worst nightmare of those that announce a surprise pregnancy - like it happens when you just look at each other!!

Anyway, this isn't helping you - look after yourself. It is ok to feel down about it as none of us expected to be in this position.

As for me, I'm awaiting AF. My calculations say due Sunday. Ovia says to test on Sunday but AF isn't due until Tuesday. Internet suggests Sunday/Monday.

I am desperate to test. We don't keep them in the house so it means I can restrain myself. Whenever I have tested early or on the day AF was due it was negative and AF arrived within a couple of hours to make it worse.

There's no need to apologise, if anyone's going to understand how you feel it's us lot.

Big hugs and hopefully it'll happen soon for you.

According to FF, I'm due to ov tomorrow. Seeing as we tried to BD on Wednesday and it just wasn't happening (my OH is on medication which sometimes causes ED) I'm not holding out much hope for this month. After a failed attempt it generally takes a while for him to feel like trying as performance anxiety tends to take over - I'll just have to pounce when he's least expecting it and hope that not having time to overthink things works :D

Cats sorry to hear you're feeling so down atm, but please don't apologise, everyone's here to offer mutual support through the crazy journey that is ttc. I haven't been on this journey that long, but I've gone through more emotions already than I ever thought possible, and having this thread helps when I feel like I'm going to lose the plot. Sending hugs your way xxx

CD9 here, ovia predicting ov next weekend when hubby & I will be in Wales with friend for rwc matches. Looks like this will be another wasted month

Cats we are all in the same boat... please don't apologise for feeling like this - we all do at some point! I'm on cycle 7 this month and last cycle a similar situation to you... just back from a relaxing BD-filled hol, thought I had IB and then AF arrived... WHHHATT?!?!?! Some days are better than others but this forum really helps me to stop going mad because I realise I'm not alone, there are literally thousands of others just like us. Chin up and hugs.

CD16 today and 3DPO according to Glow, but still only getting High on CBFM... took a CB Digi OPK yesterday and today and both neg... so I either ov'd on CD12/13 and the CBFM didn't pick up the surge or it hasn't happened yet... AGH thought the CBFM would make life easier but its just costing loads for sticks and I'm having to do opks as well?!?! Annoying... have BD'd every day CD10-15 except CD13 so hopefully had it covered and haven't missed it... if its even happened...

Sorry, that was a load of nonsense just ranting haha. Have a great weekend all xx

  • Cats - sending hugs your way :)

So FINALLY had my implant taken out so I can now officially say we're TTC!! :D
Almost passed out when I had it taken out (big wimp, I know) had mum there to hold my hand though :)

Obviously have no idea when my AF is due, nurse it should be within 3 weeks and then I can work out the length on my cycles (I've been on birth control since I was 14, due to heavy AF) and when I OV.
Still imputing everything onto Glow as well so I can keep track of things :)

Me and OH are going to try and BD every other day if we can and I'm TRYING not to stress myself out but I want a baby SO much it is hard not to. Which is why I am so grateful for this thread! I've had some people telling me it might be quick and others telling me it's going to take ages. So just trying to focus on other things at the moment and hope it "just happens"

Hope everyone has a nice weekend xx
