Hi all!

Good morning everyone.
Euronorris, thanks for checking - I am CD3. Even though I *knew* we were out last month, there was still a little hope left in the back of my mind so I was a little disappointed to see AF on Saturday. Combined with some pre-AF bleeding around day DPO7, an unusually heavy flow over the weekend, and a cold/virus, I am pretty irritated this month!
Cycle was a day shorter than usual this cycle (26 instead of 27, average), but this is good as my husband will be away just after Fertility Friend says I will ovulate in October so I'm happy to have a few days spare afterwards, just in case OV gets knocked back!
I'm going to do the OPK again this cycle and we're going for a "fertility MOT" (!!!) this week just to make sure everything is doing what it is supposed to be doing. I know we've not been trying very long in the grand scheme of things but I am almost 38, rather impatient and would want to know sooner rather than later if there is any issue. I guess I'm just hoping they will say everything is okay and I can relax a little...
Good luck (and patience!) to everyone in the TWW, have fun BD to those in the zone and a large glass of wine to those with AF!

CD15 for me today.
Because I normally have cycles anywhere between 31 and 33 days, Ovia predicted I would ov on the 16th this month..I had an OPK staring me in the face on Saturday so out of curiosity I did it and had the strongest positive! We had bd anyway the night before, luckily...again on Saturday and last night so fingers crossed. Really pleased I did the chance OPK as I could have totally missed it. Ive updated Ovia with the +ve and we've bd on the best days possible. Eek!
So im possibly 1DPO today, in my first ever official 2ww!
Good luck everyone, I come on here every day hoping to see you all announcing your BFP!

Hi All....
My OH and I are TTC#1 and have been for the last few months. I've been lurking here for the past few weeks because I feel like the 'wait and see' approach just isn't happening.
I think this is our 5th month and 4 cycle TTC... I'm 34 and OH is 35 with two girls from a previous marriage. I think my next approach is going to be purchasing some ovulation kits to try and ensure that its happening on the right days...
Any recommendations?
Thanks,
D_M x0 -
I've just joined ovia and it contradicts my fertile window that I have just looked up online. Who knew this would be so complicated?! I think I'm CD22 of a average 32 day cycle....0

Hi everyone. Massive hugs to those on CD1 etc and thank you so much to all of you for such lovely replies to my emotional rant.
Unfortunately things have got both better and worse. After my outburst and some tears I have a doctors appointment booked next week, and have also ordered a thermometer for next month, as well as some agnus castus which I read is supposed to be good for regulating your cycle. So was feeling the "onwards and upwards" mentality.
However, the spotting I experienced Thurs/Fri last week then stopped and never materialised into AF. Got my hopes up and tested Saturday (12 DPO) and BFN. Then today I have a tiny bit of bright pink spotting so think things are kicking off again - if that's the case I've managed a lovely 14 day LP but a massive 42 day cycle, longest so far. And that's assuming AF arrives today or tomorrow let alone any later.
So cycles have now been 32, 32, 36, 39, 42 - I'm definitely ready for the doctors appointment!!!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

Hope you've all had a good weekend. Looking forward to X Factor later!
Freddie you have more control than me if you can wait that long to test!
My only update is that we are now CD13 and I've had high on the dual hormone Clearblue for the last 4 days. I got peak on cd10 last month so it's much later this month. Hope it happens tomorrow as I don't think we can keep up the bding every other day!
Milliebob I'm interested to see how many high days you have as it's my first month using opks and already had 2 high days. Ov isn't predicted for another 4 days so hope it's not that long!
Sorry about cd1 skaps. Dodgy hugs, wine ad chocolate needed :grouphug:
Welcome disorganised meI have just started using this opk. It's pricey but I can't be bothered to mess around with cheap internet ones. Good luck!

Cd1 here, giving me a 26 day cycle, bizarre. I have a sneaky feeling I may have ovulated cd 16,i really hope so anyway as otherwise I had an eight day lp which isn't good.
I hope the docs can help cats, it must be very frustrating.
Lots of us just starting new cycles, fingers crossed!

Chickp I got peak this morning, so I had four days of high before peak today. This evening I have a weird crampy feeling in my left pelvic area, which I think might be ovulation! We managed to bd on cd8, 10, 12 and 14 (today). Will try tomorrow too but this is the most we've managed yet on our TTC journey!
