CD8 here, 31/32 day cycle so still a long way off from even OV. This is our first month of trying properly and it's consuming every moment of my waking hours! Haven't ever DTD to conceive yet, and im already stressed out. So desperately want to announce over Christmas...

Cats, I went to the doctor after two months because I'd had such irregular cycles and I suspected PCOS. There was no fertility help available at that stage, of course, but she did send me for the relevant tests to confirm my suspicions. That made trying slightly easier, as I knew about what was going on down there, and if we ever do need medical help the doctors will have a better idea of where we might need to start.
Which is a long way of saying that I think it is worth going before 12 months if you have reason to think there's a particular issue. With a short LP the response islikely to depend on the individual doctor - I found a lot aren't convinced by the ovulation data we track, so might just say you must have ovulated earlier. But it can't hurt to ask and they might be able to really help. Good luck x0 -
Condradulations Toots!!
On countdown for implant removal (2 days!!)
I've downloaded the glow app on my phone and been playing around with that so I can get used to tracking etc. Me and OH are so excited to be TTC
I have a couple of questions for people and I apologise if they've already been asked not read though the whole thread yet (quite a few pages!!)
1. After me and OH have BD'ed I normally go striaght to the toilet but shall I wait a little while and sit there? (sorry if this is TMI!!)
2. How do I check my temparature and where do I check it? (probably a silly question I know!!)
3. How do I check where my cervix is and how do I know if it is soft, high etc? (so confused)
Sorry to be a pain!! Think I have got the hang of the mucus (is that what is is called?)
Sorry if I sound so silly, am new to this and so excited but confused at the same time and still getting used the abbreviations etc (I know it says on the 1st post so keep going back haha)
TIA everyone and SBDTAxx

Hi chocolatelover, not sure about temping, it's not something I do myself, but I'm sure some of the others on here can prob help with that.
I've heard an old wives' tale that you're supposed to lie on you back for 30 mins after sex, and even to raise/prop you legs up, to help the sperm on it's journey, but apparently there's no evidence to back it up. It's a good excuse to have a lie down after bding though
I found chekcing my cervix quite confusing to begin with too, but it does get easier. It's best to check at the same time every day (I check mine first thing every morning). The more you check, the clearer it'll become what is high/low for you. Good memory aid is soft feels like you lips, medium feels like tip nose, & hard feels like chin. HTH.
CD6 & feeling quite down today, no particular reason, just being a proper moaning mini0 -
