    Fifth Anniversary Combo Breaker

Fingers crossed for all 2wwers, would be great to get some August BFPs squeezed in, no pressure!!

AF is much heavier this month for me, I'm wondering if this is my first "true" AF since coming off BC, I've had 5 months of relatively light AF but this month its full force with cramps. Chocolate is helping!

I got my CBFM yesterday so going to go by that this month and not temp/ic poas/check cervix or anything else, need a break from it I think it just sends my mind into overdrive. Just going to do as the monitor tells me and see how that goes for this cycle.

    Dust to all! x

AF due tomorrow, couldn't wait and tested this morning, bfn again. Gutted, I don't know how you ladies who have been doing this much much longer than me are coping.

Hi all, hugs to those who need them xx
I downloaded the glow app a few days ago after reading about it on here, it's quite personal! Think it will be quite useful though as I am always losing track and quite like the tips and encouragement it gives. Got hubby to download it as well so will try and encourage him to keep logging the data.
I had ovulation pain yesterday so pretty sure I ov on day 15. Don't feel it often though so maybe I am overthinking things!

    Sorry about bfn Milliebob :(

There's always the possibility that hcg levels aren't high enough atm for hpt to detect, might be worth retesting in few days xxx

Big hugs for all of the bfns. In the 5 cycles we've been trying, I've been convinced with symptoms enough to test twice. I've now decided to postpone my disappointment and try to wait for AF to show or not instead. A bit more MSE for me on the pregnancy tests then, which can go towards cheer-up chocolate instead. ;)

  • Hello everyone,
Me and my hubby have decided we want to start a family :D
We're not trying at the moment as I've got the implant in and I'm on a 3 month waiting list to have it taken out :( plus we're going on holiday in November (our belated honeymoon) and looking for a new house (but should have one soon - hopefully).

I was just wondering as I'm new here how long it has taken people to get back to a normal cycle after coming off the implant? I'm 21 and was on the pill for a couple of years (come off because I get migranes) then went onto the mini pill and I'm on my second implant. I've been on birth control since was 14 so it's been a while since I've had a "normal" cycle. Was just after some advice please :)

chocolatelover I've no personal experience of being on the implant, but some of my friends who have been fell pregnant even before their first proper period.

  • That sounds good then :)Sexymouse I was just concerned that I had been on birth control so long that it would take a little while for my body to re-adjust to having normal cycles xx

I'd say just be prepared chocolate - Ive been on the pill since I was 17, same one as many of my friends, no issues, and whilst plenty of them fell pregnant almost straight away I'm now into cycle 4 and have had cycles at 32, 33, 36 days and now min 34 for this one. Al periods have been very short, only one was super heavy with cramps etc, and still only 2.5 days.

I was a tad naive about how easy it would be to get back to "normal".
