Lulu, I have to stock up on tampons & sanitary towels. I had same thought as you, hopefully once I get them, I'll get bfp soon after. If only it was that easy :p

So sorry for AF Flutter, hugs to you and all x
:( AF arrived. 4 days late. But I still have terrible nausea etc. Words can't describe how much I hate my body at the moment.

I've bought sanitary towels and joined Slimming World, surely I will get a BFP now to "throw a spanner in the works"?? or is that not how this goes....

I bought a massive box of tampons a few months ago with this in mind... unfortunately I'm getting through them now :(

cd 20 today, 4DPO Ov CD 16 and we BD on days 13, 15 and 16 so maybe we'll be luck!

FF predicts AF Sat 5th Sept and I hope it's correct as that would be another 12 day LP, really hope it's better than last month!

My mum annoyed me the other day by lecturing me on the importance of a healthy diet when ttc. We are doing major building work on our house and I had to have toast and takeaway 3 days in a row, what does she expect me to do about that at the moment? When she mentioned lifting your legs after BD I stopped listening...

    Good luck everyone :)

Ooh what's a soft cup?! Do tell...

A soft cup is like a soft rubbery/silicone cup that you can use in place of tampons or pads to catch AF. Inserted.

Some people use them after BD to also stop ... man juice ... from trickling out, so keeps it closer to cervix for longer.

I know that people think they're being helpful when they point out things like that and of course it's ideal to do everything you can to give yourself the best chance but it annoys the hell out of me too.

It's still not as annoying as the fact that a girl at work got pregnant without trying and hasn't bothered to change her diet, which seems to consist of crisps and chips, since she found out though. I'm pretty sure she was still smoking for a while at the start too - there's been a lot of biting my tongue not to have a shouty hissy fit!!!

    Understand that completely.

Smack heads seem to get pregnant easily enough. When you get right down to it you can do absolutely everything to increase chances but it's still down largely to luck.

I've tried to be healthy which is why I joined SW but I will seriously want choc if AF arrives on Tuesday.

Getting a spot on my cheekbone so I'm not sure if this is AF preparing? How long before AF do you get your tell-tale spots?

Checked my cervix position and I could barely reach it! It felt quite soft so I feel this is a good sign?

Lulu, apparently a high soft closed cervix just before AF is due is a very good sign you've conceived. Also, a lot of cm, or cm which is watery/like a lotion is also meant to be a good sign.

About a week ago, my cervix was extremely low, probably the lowest I've ever felt it, over the past week it's got higher, & is now really high (I can barely touch mine as well), & soft. I think it's closed, but its quite difficult to tell cos it's so high.

Angel apparently it's meant to feel like your nose if you haven't and your lips if you have. Mine feels very very soft but the arrival of that spot has thrown me.
