Sounds like a plan ThinkPink, just watch you'll sign up and get going and that bfp will probably appear! Just go for it, I took a qualification last year and am thinking of doing the next level up starting in December, might just go for it, can always defer if something (hopefully) happens...

    Hugs all xx

Lulu, don't be hard on yourself. This is such a horrible, draining experience. We're brought up to believe that when we want a baby, we'll just be able to magic it up first time around. We're of the age where we're surrounded by women who have clearly done just that, which is even more of a slap in the face when you've tried and tried, and in cases like yours, tried and lost. We're not supposed to talk about struggling with TTC in the same way people aren't really supposed to confess to being mentally ill. We're supposed to cuddle our friends' babies, organise baby showers, and laugh off the thoughtless comments as if they're the most hilarious thing ever. It's okay to stop laughing for a while and despise mother nature, your own body and everyone around you. It's not okay to give up on yourself. We're all here to listen. We listen to stories about each others' CM and describe BD in the kind of detail even our best friends don't get. Pour yourself a glass of your favourite wine, break open the biggest bar of chocolate you can find, and have a good night's sleep. Things are always better in the morning, unless you're a vampire ;)

Had the phone call to say SIL had gone into labour this morning. We're pretty close, and now we live literally around the corner, she's been popping in and keeping me updated all the way through, so I feel like I've lived it with her. The thing is, I've got very mixed feelings. Obviously I'm really excited for her, and it was her BFP announcement which made us start TTC so that the family could have cousins of a similar age. She knows we're having trouble with TTC, and has been really understanding. Despite her claiming to be the most un-maternal woman going, I know she's going to be a great mother.

On the other (more selfish) hand, I know that I'm going to have to watch all our relatives coo over her baby in the coming months, and bite my tongue when people remind DH that he's the only one of his siblings who hasn't provided a grandchild yet, which is going to be really hard for both of us. It's not like we've not been trying. We also have a sneaking suspicion from the clues she's given, that our chosen baby name is one she's got high up on her list, which will just be another kick in the teeth if that's the one she goes with. It's not like you can ask someone to not use a particular name for their baby!

I'm in the 2WW now, so I can't even drown my sorrows. Going to grit my teeth, plaster on my best smile, and wait for an update on my new niece or nephew.

This is the slowest 2WW ever! CD9 today and had some pink tinged CM this morning but nothing since. Hope AF isn't coming early.

Good luck with the course ThinkPink, sounds like a great idea

Hugs Cuilean, must be really tough atm minute, but fx you'll get your bfp pretty soon, & your new niece/nephew will have a little cousin to play with before you know it.

Afm, CD5, AF gone, time to start tracking my cycle, waiting on ov :D

Thanks for the encouragement. I have just completed a one year course - and when I started it last September I did get my bfp a few weeks after, but unfortunately that wasn't meant to be, but it was absolutely great if I get my forever bfp soon. It's been good to have a distraction from ttc, and the next course is a post grad course so it will definitely keep me busy!

CD9 today and started SMEP again last night, temping is going ok but had a 1 day spike which I think was just because I forgot and took it after I'd got up... hmm!! Reading a quite funny book The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant which is keeping my spirits up, its mostly stuff I'd read already but all in one place and quite witty in places.

Need to buy some OPKs and more vits today, more cash to pay out! Hope everyone is well, sending hugs to those who need x

One of my friend's announced she's pg today, totally delighted for her, she had mc last year & was devastated. Bit of the green eyed monastery starting to strike now though :(

The green eyed monster will always come out, no matter how happy you are for them.

Since 25th July I have seen three pg announcements, a birth announcement, a christening announcement and a million photos of babies and scan pics.

Sorry for recent absence ladies, sounds like there is so much disappointment around at the moment so I'm here armed with hugs, wine and chocolate for whoever needs it.

Lulu, is there any type of counselling you can access? Through your gp or your employer maybe? Even paying for it privately maybe, if you are feeling like its all too much then there's nothing wrong with asking for help. Life is rubbish sometimes and we just have to muddle through x

I'm cd15 here, flashing smiley on cb opk which I am so glad about as poor hubby has been crazy Ill since Friday and has only just gona back to work today. I was gutted at the thought of not even being able to try so hoping we might get a chance tonight/tomorrow!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D
